Advice on gearing/playing my Shadow Priest

Hi guys,

I'm not really sure if this is even the place to ask about this, but I recently dinged my priest to level 90. I would really like to get into pvp with him before Draenor drops. I have roughly 490 iLvL PvE gear, and the crafted PvP gear (some of it is 458, some of it 478 or whatever the close iLvLs are).

I guess my question is, how should I go about gearing this priest most effectively? Should I stick with my PvE gear until I get some more honor PvP gear? Or should I buy all of the crafted stuff possible and go with that? Any tips here would be appreciated!

Also, if you have any tips on playing a Shadow Priest, I would love to hear them. I have never really played a Priest before, so any pointers or useful macros would be highly appreciated!

Use the PvE gear and grind battlegrounds as much as possible until you have a full set of honor gear. Do some arenas or RBG's and then cap out conquest points each week.
