I eat bread in all forms.
Out of those two, whole grain. Rye bread is much better than either of those tho.

Yeah, I'm puzzled - White bread is made from wheat. So is brown bread.

Yeah you got effed in the ass by marketing people, so? If you believe them saying that wheat bread is something different from white bread and cause you to buy it instead of that "white" bread - they've done a good job. Doesn't mean it's true.
Ignorance and marketing can do marvels. Wheat bread is white bread no matter what you believe or the marketing people in your television say.

Anyways, I prefer rye bread (BROWN bread!) over single-grain white bread. Multi-grain wholegrain breads are usually good! "Potato bread" generally is good, too. But that is a very broad term, you can make potato bread with different grains so they taste different. Rieska is good too, that's a Finnish tortilla of sort.
Rye > oat > barley > wheat
PS. I believe corn bread is quite popular in the US?
So I just looked up the caloric content of Potato bread and White bread. Potato bread is hilariously lower in calories than white. Why the hell am I eating white bread?
Depends, if you get the white bread which is the mass produced factory stuff which is so bad i wouldn't feed it to anyone. Or the white bread you bake yourself with proper good flour
