    Why is this story getting national attention? 3 people died in a country of ~315,000,000 when this happens every day in Chicago. I never see gun control bait threads for those.

    Its only news because the guy said heil hitler, thats the only reason. Yesterday in the city I live in, a woman and her kid were beaten to death by the alcoholic husband but no national news on that of course.

    To the "does it ever end" notion, there are over 300 million people in America with the number increasing. With that many people, you are unavoidably going to have people killing each other daily. That many people at once simply won't all behave for long periods of time unless a very large statistical anomaly occurs.
