Any ideas on how to transfer toon with lots of gold?

I want to transfer my toon to another server but as some of you know the max gold the character can carry is 50k. I need to transfer about 250k worth of gold, how can I do this? I'd rather not do pets as pets take a long time to sell.

Do a Guild transfer, the Guildbank has no gold cap afaik.

As tweak said, a lvl 2 guild can have gold when transferred to bypass the 50k character cap.

Guild transfer is your best option if you only want to transfer one character with that much gold.

Guild bank cap is 1 mil gold 999 999g 99s 99c same as char cap. I had to transfer 1.4mil gold eitherway it sucked massivly. If you want to have that gold over your best bet is guild bank server transfer. You can easly lvl GB to lvl 2 via arenas it costed me like 2-3k for some dude to boost me on my shity alt while being in my guild to boost my guild bank, as I already transfered some of the main chars I had to play on crap geared alt.

Rest is left to buy equal selling items from your realm and to resell them on another realm even some loss wont hurt that much as long most of your gold is over, that's what matters the most. I had to spend about 200-300k even tho I lost some of it I also made some gold in a long run but either way my gold was transfered. Guild bank should realy not have a gold cap or atleast it should be bigger 2-5mil.

If you don't want to transfer via guild bank, best bet is pets or when transfering char spend all gold above 50k on things which sell the most or things you can resell on new server and make profit. When I was doing server transfer I bought 6-7 Sky Golems and they were going for around 25k at that time and managed to made 1k profit on some when reselling on new server. So aim for items that either stack alot (Don't take alot of bag space) or are expensive and wanted.

All I can really think of is buying rare TCG mounts/pets on the AH to resell on the new server.

No one really makes them anymore and acquiring that many could be an enormous endeavor.

Pet/mount trading. If your new server is big shouldn't be a problem to sell them away.

Could even do some nice profit if you aren't in a hurry having your gold back.

Honestly with the economy being as broken as it is in terms of disparity between gold on some players I really do not understand why they don't just say screw it you can xfer all your gold at this point.
