This thread is dedicated to words of wisdom of those who are still among us, or have long passed from our world. The video above is an example of a prevalent issue of the United States. 50 or so years ago President Eisenhower warned us of a corrupt and ever expanding military. This is as relevant today was it was for him all those years ago. This thread's purpose is to show that we still have a long way to go.

Another example.

We still live in a society that tells us to change who we are to be accepted. We must fit into categories in order to be happy. a few decades ago, a controversial figure brought up his own solution to this modern problem.

"Accept everything about yourself, I mean everything, You are you and that is the beginning and the end, no apologies, no regrets."
Henry A. Kissinger
