Genesis- Serious ReRoll Guild- late night|||Arthas-Horde
About us:
We are Genesis, a serious reroll guild who will be coming to US-Arthas on the Horde and will be aiming to be competitive in WOD upon release. However, realistically we know that we will not compete for Top 100 until the 2nd raid tier in WOD due to being a new guild; with that comes finding our core and working to fill in positions we need in order to be competitive. It’s a long process however; successful rerolls do happen if done right.
Genesis will thrive on 20man (25man to finish MOP) progression raiding, however, we want a strong guild community. We are looking for not only good raiders but people who are active in the game outside of raid times. The leadership will encourage being on vent and doing activities outside of raids. We cannot be the only ones that miss the true sense of being in a guild; logging on for your guild mates.
Applications:
A quick application and interview is mandatory for all potential raiders. It gives us a chance to learn a little about you and for you to learn about us.
We will be accepting casual/socials/friends who are more than welcome to reroll with us however you must go through the same process of application and interview; we want to get to know every member in our guild.
Expectations:
We are looking for raiders who don't need others to hold their hands, and who can be responsible enough to be prepared for raid. This includes taking the time to learn your class and being able to min-max for progression.
-You need to be able to commit to our schedule. Being reliable is a huge deal.
-You are seeking a guild that emphasizes more than quick leveling and mass recruitment.
-You are active and looking for a steady guild to call home.
-You understand that for a guild to work, all members must contribute to its development and progression.
-You enjoy the aspects of the game, especially progression in hard mode environments.
-You are easy to get along with and know when to joke and when to be serious.
Reroll:
We will not be rerolling until we have the perfect environment. This means 35-50 active members on our forums and ventrilo as rolling too soon will leave us with problems at level 90 and we need to have patience to do things right.
-Raf and BOA’s are acceptable.
-Hard cap level 1 until we have released a reroll date (comes when we have the numbers).
-No other leveling caps (race to 90!)
-We will allow members to buy levels 60-90 to get professions with the understanding that you, the booster, will research your new class and learn how to play it just as well as if this is now the character you will be raiding on.
Raiding Schedule: Normal raid schedule is as follows-
-11pm-2am EST ||| 8pm-11pm PST
-Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday
Progression raid schedule after a new Raid instance is released-
Week 1: We raid as much as we can stand being in the instance and resources allow within the guild.
Week 2: We drastically lighten it up and hit the harder content. Being that we will have cleared the week prior, we'll only be adding mechanics to fights we already got the strats down for.
Week 3: The final week of progression, we clear what we can as fast as we can. We have fun doing it and we go as long or as short as the raid comes to a consensus for.
Week 4: No if and's or butts, we return to a maximum of 3 nights/week.
We will raid 3 weeks, realistically 2 weeks at a hardcore schedule, and then spend the rest of those months enjoying the ranks and having fun while we raid. Having an absolute baller time with guildies as the rank ____ guild.

During the 3 weeks of our hardcore schedule we will be using a Loot council. When we transition back to our normal 3-day a week raid schedule we will use DKP. DKP will still be gained during the first 3 weeks; however it will not be spent.

PLEASE NOTE:
We are in no rush to start the re-roll. We will NOT be beginning this re-roll until we have between 35 and 50 active members. A lot of the people that will apply and be accepted wont make it to 90 with us; so we have to have the numbers required to be a successful 25 man raiding guild. This may take 2 weeks or 2 months.
DO NOT apply if you are unwilling to wait for the perfect environment. We will have weekly roll-calls on our forums and expect you to check in to be considered an active member.
