So I talked to the boss (my wife) and we agreed it would be better in the long run to buy all new parts and build a brand new machine. I ordered all of the parts last night and they should be arriving tomorrow! I used the build that you suggested but bumped up the ram to 16GB. Thanks everyone for all of your input and helping me piece this all together!
