For that budget, those are some good parts. Mostly, it'll come down to (talking responses here) manufacturer preference. As far as motherboards go, I prefer Asrock, Corsair for RAM is good, and you couldn't pay me enough to use an ATI video card lol. But again, just personal preference. I'd say go for it!

Need more info... what does he have now? We need to know the rest of the system to know if those are proper upgrades or not. Is he MISSING those parts, and needs RAM, GPU, Mobo, or is he upgrading? What PSU does he have (Brand and model)
    Gaming: Dual Intel Pentium III Coppermine @ 1400mhz + Blue Orb | Asus CUV266-D | GeForce 2 Ti + ZF700-Cu | 1024mb Crucial PC-133 | Whistler Build 2267
    Media: Dual Intel Drake Xeon @ 600mhz | Intel Marlinspike MS440GX | Matrox G440 | 1024mb Crucial PC-133 @ 166mhz | Windows 2000 Pro

See if you can't get an 1866 MHz RAM kit for the same price. I'm assuming that you're using Alternate.nl, so here you go.

Not sure if anything changed since last you checked it, but I got that gpu for 270 euro at alternate.

anyway. No point in getting a micro atx board if you are getting a normal sized case. I would go for either of these

    MSI G45 gaming
    Gigabyte Z87X-D3H

The GeIL ram you have is 1.65 volts, you'll want to get 1.5 volt ram. Should be the same price

The GeiL range is fully Haswell-architecture certified, even at 1.65V. I have the 2400MHz kit in my rig (it cost less than the similar-priced 1600MHz kit, so that's why I got it). It works better with the 4670k, though.

1.5v have reduced risk for Haswell, for sure.
