Maximus fire build is pretty strong for 2 hander. Those fire chains are insane.

Maximus is only good because of the fire chain...if it didn't have the fire chain demon, it'd be useless.

Too powerful in my eyes for a thing that is out probably 70% of the time from my guesses.

Once you get above T3 though, the demon dies really easily to a lot of things. It's almost useless in T6 because almost every elite affix will 1shot the demon.

And IIRC the fire chain is not affected by +fire% on gear.

They fixed that weeks ago. It survives a lot better now.

Maximus is pretty good for the firestarter build as well since all the hits from the chains prooc firestarter. Plus you get an additional 20% fire damage, which is pretty big.

Its still low ranked on the tier for Firestarter builds. Even Fate of the Fell(which is used for shotgun) is better than maximus for a firestarter build.
