How satisfied are you with where you live?

How satisfied/happy are you with the place where you live? (I don't mean your dwelling, residence etc, but rather, your city/town)

I'm just wondering, would you like to move to another place? if so, why?

It's sunny most days and the people are pretty friendly here.

New York is full of scumbags. I'd like to live somewhere else.

Ft. Worth is an older city. I wish I was back in Austin so I could meet younger people because I have no fucking clue how to meet guys up here that isn't a bar. Museums? old dudes. Hiking? again old dudes. Church? uh...that would be weird to only go to church to pick up dudes.

Other than that I don't mind it. Its quiet, but Im screwed if terrorists ever want to bomb Lockheed Martin.

I like the diversity of community and the monuments but hate how bipolar the weather is, goes from 50 to 80 degrees in a day.

Pretty good. Weather is nice. Still want to get out though. Out of the Yellowstone blast radius but still have some land. Been looking at land in the basketcase EU countries like Italy and Spain. Argentina looks pleasant too, visited once. The strong European influence seems to make it a little more stable than Brazil, I wouldn't mind living there. Dollar goes far too, for now. So who knows.

Too close to Detroit for my liking. I want to move to a rural area.

I have a small apartment, I live a lone. And I have no roommates

    Let me repeat.

    NO FUCKING ROOMMATES.

No douchebag asshole roommates who insists that the "dishwasher is for clean dishes only" and throws a fit about where I put food in the fridge (but doesn't tell me how anal he is about the fridge until after I've offended him by putting my food on the wrong shelf.) No fucking assclown of a roommate who has to confiscate the dishtowel because I godforbid used it to clean some water from the counter top, or confiscate the dishsoap because I "used too much" (I used two or three squirts. . . but ya know, we did have a FUCKING DISHWASHER)

Dishwashers are for washing dishes, hence why the word "washer" is in the name "dishwasher." Fucking assface.

    Anyways, no roommates so 10/10.

I might be a little bitter

I love Bloomington it's not overly huge but with the college being here there are tons of things going on. The community is great as well I have never seen a community as supportive as this one. I mean for example there are festivals annually and tens of thousands show up to them. We have many local businesses here that thrive because the community supports them as well. I am dreading leaving this week because I am not sure where I will be working in the future I am trying to get a job through the university so I can stay here.

While I enjoy the privacy of living in the boonies, I can't say I'm very partial to being so far away from decent job opportunities and stores.

    Oh and the internet sucks.

Very. Central North Carolina is heaven. Weather is moderate to beautiful throughout the year, we have all four seasons (although Spring can be short when Winter does crazy shit like it did this year), mountains to the west for me, beaches to the east for my wife ... it's just great.

I just wish there were more White Castles.

I love where I live. It's not too big of a town, not too small, plenty of lovely country all around, nice people, good food. And trees. LOTS of trees.

I'm not sure I'd ever leave for a long period of time. This place is my home, and I hate going out of town for more than a couple of days.

I hate it. Lots of people going nowhere, lots of idiots fighting one another and destroying everything, small-town drama bullshit constantly. Very little to do because the local council is incompetent and wastes money on things that don't work instead of attracting businesses and building facilities, investing in the arts, etc. You can't go out around here on the weekend without someone trying to start a fight, and the bouncers are just as bad.

I was much happier in the city last year. Moved back temporarily because rent was extortionate but I'll stick it for another year if it means not coming back again.

3/10 North Cuba (South FL) is really overrated and is a terrible place to live in unless you are filthy rich. Cannot wait to move and be rid of the "minority" influx. Having a second language become dominant in your previous hometown is disgusting, the work is poor and prices are fairly inflated. Could be much worse though; at least for now I have internet to throw time at.
    Stay salty my friends.

The scenery is nice over here, but the economy is TERRIBLE.

It's alright, pretty boring, being somewhere for too long just makes me miserable, for the most part. Most of the people here are real idiots as well, they just kind of disgust me.

I'd move to another state or country if I had the opportunity. An even better deal would be to just live in a house in the middle of nowhere.

South East Queensland Australia, small coastal town.
A little too small for my liking and the local politics are irritating to say the least.
Being Australia I sometimes have to fight off building sized spiders and snakes. Minor inconvenience.

Frankly where I used to live, it's too Hispanic (not the block nearest the cliff, but everything further back). It's not like New York Hispanic where most people still speak English. These aren't my Domincan and Rican friends nope (they're over in Jersey City). Now... my particular block is quite nicely mixed Basically roughly 10-20% Hispanic with even mixes of just about everything else (Whites are majority by a small amount); however, once you step off the block and venture say just two blocks inland it's suddenly 80% Hispanic, some blocks are 95%+ The problem I had was I felt semi-ostracized. I didn't speak Spanish, and trying to speak French could only get me so far. A lot of the people are just plain rude. I called a restaurant for information, they said "No English" and just hung up on me. People start speaking to me in Spanish, (because apparently I look Rican) and when I say sorry I don't speak Spanish it's dirty look time.

I guess this area has a lot of new immigrants. It's not like New York (what I was used to) or Jersey City (what I was also used to) where the overwhelming majority of Hispanics spoke English, even if they spoke to me in Spanish first. I somehow became "that rican guy" at some point idk how that happened. I wouldn't even mind the lack of English if I wasn't constantly getting the glare of doom because I don't speak Spanish.

Anyway, I moved to river road (below the cliff). The problem here is that I'm so close to the damn Hudson now, and New York City Hudson ain't pretty. Especially when it sticks... Downtown Jersey City Hudson just doesn't stink. I've been on the pier and it doesn't really stink, further up, like midtown New York area, it's god awful some times. I do like the random fire work displays, plus I have a view that runs from world trade up to the george washington bridge. The problem though is that, I'm not really within walking distance of a lot of stores I'd like to go to, I have to go up quite a bit to get to one of the two shopping centers, or go to manhattan, or take a train to downtown jc, all of which are relatively easy, but I like to walk about.

The other issue is the god forsaken weather. Blistering cold with blizzards one season, 110f muggy, omg I'm drowning on air summer days. It's too much variation, and not good variation.

I'd much rather just move to the bloody west coast, but my work is here. I have a petty relaxed work schedule, I make enough and i pursue hobbies. If I moved I'd likely have to start all over, which is quite a risk

I've never been anyplace I'd rather live. Chicago has a lot going for it. Even with all it's problems.
