Sorry for your loss, very much members of the family they are, my Auntie also had a cat that lived a very long life (22 to be exact) so I know what sort of impact this must be having, boo to your parents by the way, but surely they hesitated in telling you because they knew that either way, you'd take it badly?

    I'm sorry

Mine is 14, and I'd be destroyed if something happened to her. Take care *hugs*

21s a good full life for a kitty. A 21 year old cat is like a human living to 90. A long full happy life. Full of lols and joy.

    Just remember the good times.

Sorry for your loss, I can't imagine losing my cat, she's about 18 at this point. There are times(rarely, maybe once a year) where she jumps or falls and she kind of starts to limp for a couple hours, then she's fine, but those hours make me so worried I just follow her around or try to get her to sit somewhere, but she has none of that, just keeps walking around.

My condolences. 21 is...wow. Long lived kitty.

I'd probably lose it if something happened to my Lacey.

I still miss and dearly love my cat, even though she died 8 years ago. She was 14.

RIP kitty, I'm a cat lover also. Hard when they die because they stay with you for so long. Last cat I had form the time I was 5 years old. Died when I was 29 years old. I cried like a baby.

So sorry for your loss. There comes a point when you realize that they are in pain and that last trip to the vet is done in mercy. It is a hard thing and knowing this doesn't make it easier or any less painful.

Your parents spared you from that trip. I've had to make it a few times now.

Wait a few months, maybe a year and then get a new kitty.
