    12/14 HC Horde 10m - LF 1 Skilled Healer/DPS

    Server: Illidan
    Faction: Horde
    Size: 10 man
Raid Times: Friday: 10pm-2am (Server Time) that is 8pm-12am PST and 11pm-3am EST.
Saturday: 10:15pm-2am (Server Time) that is 8:15pm-12am PST and 11:15pm-3am EST.

<The Decoy> is recruiting an exceptional player with dual spec Heal/DPS to join our team. We are currently 12/14 Heroic in SoO and will be doing Mystic Raiding in WoD. We prefer a Resto/Boomkin but are willing to speak with all applicants.

A little history of us as a raid:

Our leadership has been playing World of Warcraft since its launch in 2004. Within our raid group we have people who played in top tier guilds through Kael'thas Sunstrider (Pre-Nerf), Illidan Stormrage and Kil'jaeden in Sunwell Plateau, Yogg-Saron 0 Lights, Herald of the Titans, Tribute to Insanity 10 and 25, Light of Dawn and Halion-HC 10 and 25.

In Cataclysm, our Guild saw a surge in the execution of our progression through Heroic Modes by earning 15 realm first including Heroic Al'akir (Pre-Acid Rain Nerf), Heroic Nefarian, Heroic Sinestra (earning I Can't Hear You from the Sound of How Awesome I Am in the process), Heroic Ragnaros (Pre-P4 Nerf) and culminating with Deathwing's defeat Heroic Madness of Deathwing at 15%

In addition, we take a lot of pride of having completed a total of 32 Legendary Staves and 5 pairs of Legendary Daggers spread across our Roster.

<The Decoy> was born at the beginning of MoP by bringing together one of the most eclectic mix of raiders you could find on US-Illidan. Heroic raiders, pvpers, alts of alts, people with barely any normal mode experience, etc.

Through the first tier of raiding in MoP (t14) our raidgroup transformed. Set out to be a normal mode group raiding just Friday and Saturday, we actually ended up killing 8/14 heroic modes. A pleasant bonus considering our original expectations.

In Throne of Thunder (t15) we really came into our own, through the diversity of having 2 raiders swap their mains character and 2 raiders quit raiding altogether, we killed 11/13 heroic bosses each of which dying in far less pulls than the average guild at the time. Our most notable was 33 pulls on Dark Animus Heroic.

We are now in SoO, currently 12/14 Heroic with just Klaxxi and the mighty Garrosh left in heroic mode until we have finished progression for the expansion. Our latest kill, Siegecrafter, took us less than 150 wipes to nab the kill.

    Our strength is our efficiency.

    Our Expectations:
Consistant raid attendance. Friday: 10-1:30 ST Saturday: 10:15-1:45 ST
Advanced notice (2 weeks) if you are going to be missing a raid.
Mature attitude, we are a group of adult raiders
Vocal during raids, usage of voice chat.
Willingness to receive immediate feedback during raids.
Be a proactive raider who knows what to expect each coming week.

    What we offer:
    A consistant raid group.
Strong leadership with a clear vision.
Materials, food, potions, gems, enchants, repairs for all things raid related.
A group of like minded people who have a common goal to perform at the highest possible level.
Efficiency in raiding, two night raid week while clearing the current

    Greetings everyone,

As Guild Master would like to share with you our mission:

The Decoy is a collective of former Guild leaders (a decade long tenure) came together in Mists of Pandaria to Raid and enjoy the challenges in the game doing so with the vision of maintaining the standards and expectations of old times in 40-Man Raids and The Burning Crusade style of Guild management. We are focused, inclusive and cherish every minute we get to play with other players are engaging, responsible and committed to the success of the team.

To that effect we have an intricate network of communication among all people in Guild to be up-to-date on the latest developments (we all know real life happens). As an adult and mature Guild, we have come to evaluate Blizzard's own vision for the game and how we can adapt to these changes with the least amount of disruption.

If our profile appeals to you, contact us and get ready for precision.

I would like to cordially invite you, whether if you are looking for a fresh new group to work with, or to continue working through progression in the game with a solid team of adult, experienced Raiders. Consider us in your Guild needs when recruitment is concerned and we will be happy to setup an interview with you and hopefully be able to answer all further questions you may have!

As The Decoy prepares to finish Heroic Mode progression in Siege of Orgrimmar, we are opening our doors to fresh new talent and mindsets to join our main group. Don't be shy and can always contact me on any of my characters: Valpantiel (Monk), Galadwen (Paladin), Minuialwen (Death Knight), Uddokof (Monk), Hozzerbekbek (Shaman), Daethel (Warlock), Böotes (Hunter)...

Yes, I'm an old Guild Master with a lot of characters I love!

Our Team has been preparing for the upcoming changes to Warlord of Draenor including the Raid structure something we, collectively, praise as it will provide a less chaotic environment for Recruitment and Progression without causing trouble.

For example, in the past we recruited individuals were used to the concept of 25-Man Raids and for couple of weeks had to get used to having more personal accountability due to the limit in battle resurrections and cool downs available from the Raid to mitigate the biggest bursts of damage.

We are thrilled to be heading in the right direction of an expansion promises to return some of the flavor The Burning Crusade had where Raids were seen as proving grounds, no pun intended, for performance.

Did we mention aside from Raiding our Guild enjoys together an array of different activities? For example, we have a dedicated group for Challenge Modes every week clear all gold medals for anyone seeking to complete their set before they are removed.

In addition, we have The Decoy in Diablo 3 where we help each other through all the difficulties in the game from the person's very first character to Torment VI to enjoy a break from Azeroth once in a while.

We have an extensive The Decoy group on Skype serves as our tool to stay connected offline or while on games like Hearthstone, Borderlands, Pokemon X and Y which make the experience of completing/collecting much more enjoyable.

In all we have tried, after years of trial and error, create a true sense of what a Guild should be. Some of us have even met in real life at Blizzcon or during trips across the United States proving that a friendship started in Azeroth is as strong as any other!
