we need more statistics
specifically, guilds clearing H SoO without warlocks, and guilds clearing with them. honestly, two very different situations.

Serious question. Why is MMO-Champion linking to tweets that are a month and a half old? I think Celestalon was even complaining about it the other day on twitter.

Are these worldwide accounts or western accounts? I feel like there are more than 2.3m players in the west.
Funny when you watch those charts.. my former guild killed heroic Lich King on last week previous to Cataclysm for a US #232 kill, right now there are a lot more guilds who have killed heroic Garrosh, 6 months earlier, without a 30% buff.
And considering there were 5M more people back then in the game.. I'm starting to really believe ICC was harder.
So nothing again for paladins haha, poor guys i bet Ret is going to be sooo bad again.
Those hunters changes are great. As a MM, Rapid Fire welcome back
Lets just call it like it is and be done with it. The "hardcore players" feel it's too easy and the casuals are ruining the game. The "causal players" feel the hardcore players are nuts that only they should be able to get in to see all the content even though they have to work, take care of the kids, ect.
If you like the game, keep playing and enjoy the ride until the sad day the servers shut down for the last time.
If you don't like it/feel it's just too easy and not challenging enough, no one is making you pay $15 a month. Stop playing and go find something else to do.
If you look at it, it really is just that simple. Play or don't play....either way, I don't give a crap. I'm paying my $15 a month since there is so much to this game, I still haven't done EVERYTHING in the game.
Keep in mind that people already spent money to play.
So saying "well don't play then" pretty much means just let go of something you spend money (for some people a alot) on.
And if it's other people that (to them) cause them to stop enjoying the game, then it's those people making them lose money and hours invested.
Sure one day the servers shut down and it's all gone, but at least it's blizzard's 'fault' then and all players loose what they had.
Judging by the blue posts, LFR folk sure are a whiny bunch. Immediately resorting to ad-hominem insults against people that raid, using the same, tired, invalid arguments over and over again; ie: "sorry I have a life", yet that life involves spending hours grinding out bonus roll coins and hours sitting in qeues, more hours waiting for a the group to fill back up after people leave, more hours wiping on bosses, and so on.
Props to the devs. I wouldn't have the patience to give civil responses to grown men and women behaving like self-entitled children. LFR players are the new elitists.
Take a break from politics once in awhile, it's good for you.
Finally. That's what i have been waiting for the hunter. I am happy that rapid fire is here with us, at least with the mm spec.Birthday presents for Hunters! Currently planning to replace Flaming Shots, return Rapid Fire to Marksmanship, and add Bear Trap to Survival
Finally got a flex garrosh kill thanks to a druid tank doing over 300k dps we downed him so fast he didn't have time for a 2nd intermission. No loot. >_>
These people saying Flex is hard because "you need to have a schedule, find a group" and whatever are simply ridiculous. Flex couldn't be easier even if they tried to make it so, and whoever can't clear it really doesn't deserve the achievements, titles, tier gear or whatever you do get from H/HC raids.
Not to mention Glory is now down in Flex and it's at least 10x easier to clear, I have never before dreamed about clearing Glory in current expac and I know I'd have to wait for next tier of gear to try it, and it would be hard even then.
Yes, clearing a raid takes time, but no, it doesn't take a schedule. If you can put enough time into your char to get him to 520-530 and it's very very possible - then you can easily get into a decent Flex group. Do they expect easy access to ilvl540 gear + easier Flex so they can gear&clear in 1-2 weeks? That's not how MMOs work. Sit on Timeless and try Celestials and Ordos every week, for 2 months, that'll push you into good ilvls
...or get off your ass, do PvP for 550 weapons, do Oondasta, TI rares for 535 trinkets, HC scenarios and dungeons for 522 Valor gear - and then after 2-4 weeks of that with minimum daily time investment - get into a damn Flex with good gear and don't be a scrub.
P.S. one more thing I find very amusing in LFR, people who don't know tacts because "someone will tell them if they are important". If 30 min of their time for all vids are too much for them, I wouldn't let them get past HC dungeons. I'd think about Scenarios.
I love it like ppl, who think LFR is raiding are now whining like little kids! LFR is NOT raiding. Now that flex exists and it is pretty easy, try to raid for once.
I guess the amount of information provided was too large to digest, so it just devolved to the usual "casuals are new elitists".
Oh well
I like how Bliz seems to distribute the bitchslaps in all directions: first to the casuals by removing tier gear from LFR, then just as solid one to snowflakes by making LFR ilvl higher than the pants-stainingly awaited heroic 5mans. Deary, deary me.
And to think both sides keep paying them money and plan on to buy the most expensive xpac in the history of the game
and how is flex different from lfr when most go in there with 540 requirment for part 1 ? or those groups that are doin 560+ garosh flex looms farms ?
yet flex is clearly so much better in their eyes cause they can eliminate some part of playerbase and can finally feel "elitest" img that must feel so good for them overgearing content to the point of making it actually easier and more boring then even lfr is -_-
also those graphs clearly show how dominant lfr is vs hc - and they are showing the direction game should go if they want to keep people playing - catering to casual people is the only future this game can have yet blizzzard is desperagtly trying to deny it - and it will end exackly like begining of cata ended in 2 mln sub loss
Honestly I'm tired of blizzard responding to people in a one-sided view, no matter what you post they will either cleverly not answer/address or dismiss your opinion casually and the fact of the matter is there's nothing you can do about it, hence where the game is headed. I really liked the game during Wrath but ever since then it seems like they had meetings to not enhance but to change almost everything that seemed the most enjoyable (my opinion btw) during that expansion which brings us to where WoW is now, which is dummied down to the point of all classes having no personality because everyone has to make the same choices (stats,gems.abilities,rotation,glyphs). So personally I'd rather offer my money to any MMO that gives me what WoW did when I really enjoyed it. With that said I feel like I just made a declaration to quit smoking.
It took weeks or maybe a month to even realize the proper tactics for four horsemen, so yes, in a way it was harder than anything after that. Just because some scrub guild got there with full tactics available doesn't make it easy and simple.
And to be a decent guild in AQ you didn't clear previous raid 50 times, you beat every other guild to the outdoor green dragons that could spawn almost at any time and before they did, you had to have people in duty to check the spawns at night, ready to make phonecalls and wake the guild to start a raid in middle of the night even at weekdays, AND you needed to be faster than the other guilds and no chance to wipe even if you had to assign half of the raid to PvP with the other side at the same time, if you were on PvP server (like anyone worth their salt).
By almost any measure, that took the most skill and dedication so far in WoW.
Obviously you didn't play back then and don't know much about it, so why are you talking about it?
