Stampede Pet Collection / questions

Hey. new 90 hunter here. Would love to know where to grab a bunch of useful pets for stampede is?

Also as a surv / bm hunter which pets are normally brought to a raid?

Stampede pet won't cast any spells or do any attacks outside of white hits, so it doesn't matter.


If you're doing 25m just get the tallstrider for AoE sunder, everything else should be covered, if you're doing 10m just get pets that you are most likely will be needing based on your setup. (If flex, just keep everything in your stable and change based on setup, if LFR get the prettiest pet there is!)

Pets useful to raids especially in 25 mans would generally just be something that you want to provide for your behalf (especially as BM), but a common nice pet to have in a 25 man setting would be a Plainstrider for the aoe automatic 3 stacks of sunder. Otherwise it really doesn't matter so long as all the generic buffs are being taken care of. In 10 man, same can really apply for the buff aspect. Sporebat is most sought out for Spell Haste for availability as well, always good to have one of those in your call pet list too.

As Joyful said, stampede summoned pets only auto attack. Just make sure they are all spec'd into ferocity either that or just use the minor glyph and have your main pet spec'd for ferocity.

Again as above, only pet you will usually need for 25 is tallstrider for AoE sunder.

For 10 man, make sure you have an attack speed pet (hyena works), tallstrider pet for aoe sunder armour, sporebat for spell haste, magic damage taken pet (serpents/thunderhawks work) and then your usual crit pet, maybe corehound/combat res pet if you are BM.

Basically this.

It's going to come down to figuring out what your raid group needs, and having that. Always keep a sporebat, hyena, and wolf. Those are the 3 I seem to need the most. (Spell haste, attack speed, crit, respectively).
