    Curious hit question

    Hey guys,

    I have a (maybe) strange question. When I equip the Melted Hypnotic Blade (dagger with no hit), my spell hit mouseover says "15,18% hit", and below it says "xxx hit rating: 14,18% hit". When I equip some wand with 256 hit rating on it, the same screen says "14,93% hit", and below "xxx rating: 14,93% hit".
    So one time there is an 1% discrepancy, the other time there isn't. What am I missing?

    That's what comes to mind for me. At least gnomes get expertise from daggers/"shortblades"
