I was looking at the other thread and an idea popped in my head. It'll never happen, but I'm making this thread just for "fun" even though in most cases here or any forum, fun is not allowed.
There should be a pvp legendary weapon available only for the few people willing to commit to such a heinous grind as well as accomplishing multiple feats that only few people that have played this game accomplished. People always complain how there's "no endgame" towards pvp and this entire grind should add an "endgame". Listed below are the minimum requirements for the weapon;
*Battlemaster Achievement
*Khan Achievement
*Justicar/Conquerer Achievement
*Veteran of Wintergrasp Achievement
*Veteran of Tol Barad Achievement
*Master of Astran (assuming it will exist)
*Any season specific Gladiator title (ex Prideful Gladiator)
*Whatever the .5% RBG title is called
*500,000 honorable kills
Now some people here will probably think that this isn't that bad outside of the HK grind. The catch is is that all of these requirements need to be done on one character. So that means no bullshit like 200k kills on one character and 300k kills on a different character. Nope, every single achievement listed above has to be done on one character. The rewards are as following;
*When the above is completed you receive a non empowered legendary weapon that has the same stats as the conquest weapon but has one gem slot and an extra 10% stamina. The weapon also scales in item level with each passing season, meaning you never have to grind out a pvp weapon again.
*Your character also becomes recognized by your faction as the cream of the crop and becomes a valuable mercenary. When your character enters any form of non rated battleground, he/she is now given "x"amount of gold and 3 bg specific medallions for a win. Losing grants you only one medallion and zero gold.
*The character is also granted access to a private area of stormwind/orgrimmar that only other characters with the weapon have access to. The area consists of training dummies, class specific vendors that have nothing but food and water.
*The character is given a nice looking faction specific cloak.
*All players that accomplish this are given their own private guild separate from their main guild. There is no guild leadership or ranks, just a player list that enables these individuals to group up.
To empower the weapon, the players character is given another quest that continues the grind. The requirements to complete the quest are the following;
*Earn 300 medallions for each battleground.
*Your character is given additional battleground specific feats that are to be completed (I'm not smart and creative enough to have ideas of what they are)
*Another season specific gladiator title is required.
*Another .5% RBG title is required.
*750,000 total honorable kills. (250,000 more kills)
*10,000 open world killing blows.
The completion of the above empowers the weapon by half its potential. The rewards are the following;
*Another gem slot is available, extra 5% stamina is added and the weapon can no longer be damaged.
*The weapon has a slight red/blue faction specific glow to it separating it from non empowered weapons.
*The character receives 1.5x the amount of "x" gold from the faction for a battleground victory.
*Vendors award the character free gems and enchants as well as a faction specific ground mount that can fly in fly zones.
To fully empower the weapon, the character is given a final quest which is just another grind.
*Earn another 500 battleground specific medallions.
*Another season specific gladiator title.
*Another .5% RBG title required
*An additional 10,000 open world kills.
*1,000,000 total honorable kills.
Completion of this grants the players character the following;
*Fully empowered legendary weapon that receives an additional gem slot, 5% extra stamina and an effect that instantly one shots an enemy player wearing any form of pve gear. (open world only) The weapon now fully glows Red/Blue depending on faction.
*Transmogable class specific armor given to the character from vendors.
*The players character now earns double of original "x" gold through battleground victories.
*A class specific title. Again, I'm not creative enough to make them.
*A summable escort that is effected by what gender the players character is. A male character gets a female escort of whatever race he chooses to follow him around and giggle and touch the characters muscles every time the player does /flex. A female players character gets to deal with a manlet of her choosing to follow her around and praise her. The manlet will kneel down towards to players character when the player uses /smack
And these are all the ideas I have. They will never happen, but if they did, there would be some serious cheating/boosting and good players would be forced to play random battlegrounds again which they won't do. People would also complain and want it nerfed because they'll be sad that they can complete the grind while the .01% people that did have. Complaints about how "I can't play alts anymore" would ensue which would cause blizzard to eventually backpedal and allow the weapon to be given account wide, going against the intention of the entire grind.
