All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side
There would be no reason to act differently. She was almost half an hour away from entering Russian territory at flank speed, and she clearly wasn't even close to that and had not been for a few minutes at the least give her wake. Plus, the only more pathetic strike aircraft Russia could have sent would have been Su-25s. A real navy would have sent a warship to intercept her, something even the Chinese do.

Nope, that's why i neither believe in anything of this or comment on it. I just don't see any point in this. Everything that is posted on news outlets are heavily processed and somewhat tweaked to fit political agendas.
This event itself is just pointless, regardless of amount of aircraft or ship changing its course, it's just news outlets being news outlets. One says one thing - other says another thing, neither of them are truth and you pick whatever fits your personal agenda. One outlet can say that it was 25 miles away, second outlet may say that it was 20 miles away and violating space, no one actually can check this shit so arguing over this is pointless.
The same goes with video - they recorded only one plane - it's entirely possible that there was more of them previously/afterwards and they just decided to not include this footage. Or there could be really just one unarmed plane and, again, journalists made their job and blown everything out of proportions

Little green men.
Russian media spouted presidents lies which went against everything on the ground.
All they got right was staged permanent nodding in their press conferences.
Really they intentionally make the press actors do head nodding look at Putins staged TV performances.
He didn't lied all about Crimea, and he is politician, politics = lie to your favor. And Crimea grab was a reaction on escalating event because it could easily escalate even further than that with illegal armed groups getting their hands on Crimean military bases. Without illegal coup there would be no Crimea grab and Russia would still pay for its place in Black Sea.
Yeah, i'm fine with politics.
All the press coverage is a sham.
Pluralistic? That's the most naive thing to say, whole media is run by money, whoever throws more money at media gets the best coverage.

"During the first stage of our investigation, the type of system was established. It was a Buk-M1 system [NATO reporting name SA-11], a 9М38-М1 rocket and a 9М314 warhead," head engineer Mikhail Malyshev said."The shrapnel moved from the nose of the plane to its tale inside its fuselage. The left engine, left wing and partially the tail unit were damaged. Specialists concluded that the missile was moving with a considerable intersection of the plane's flight path. That is, not from the front but from the side," Malyshev said.
