    Butterfly in the sky... I can go twice as high...

    Haven't seen a thread on this yet (used the search function even) but there is a kickstarter campaign going on to bring back Reading Rainbow, but this time as a school program instead of a T.V. show, and it has already raised over $1.1 million... Got really excited when I found out about this because I used to watch it all the time growing up and I was sad when I heard the show got cancelled D:

    My channel: Shirgadirth I used to do let's play's but now I do reviews, but not very often. Far too busy from school. Also too poor to buy games :P

    Oh man I LOVED that show! I'm glad they;re bringing it back even if its not in TV show form. Reading is super important, and not everyone had their dad read 2 books to them a night until 5th grade

    I think it's going to be even better this way, because not everybody has tv, and a lot of kids would rather watch morning cartoons than a show about a guy reading a book, but they would also much rather watch this than do a lot of the other stuff you do in school, so they will actually pay attention too it (hopefully)

    Yay for the project meeting its goal on day 1. I really hope they can accomplish a LOT by the end of the kickstarter. Really makes me wish I could donate enough for at LEAST the shirt/tote/mug combo. At the very least, I'll get my name in the thank you credits when payday gets here. Levar Burton showed me it was perfectly fine to be a Trekkie bookworm in grade school.

    This is cool. I think I remember not to awful long ago that there was a Reading Rainbow app of some sort. I even think Jordi was involved somehow.
