"Why can we notice all the bots but blizzard can't?" Isle of Conquest: 90 Horde

This has been going on all of MoP. I'm starting to believe the conspiracy theory that blizzard put them on the horde teams.

You can have games where up to 30 of the 40 horde on your team are bots pathing from the teleporter to bases road fighting, ignoring objectives, followed by the alliance wins screen. We shouldn't have to exclude Isle and alliance shouldn't get free wins against no competition.

Blizzard has done nothing about this for a couple years now.


Getting kinda sick of trying to explain this to the "maybe they're really just bad players?" posters on this forum. They are all bots. These bots can be players from any realm.

WoW PvP is and will forever stay ruined because of this shit. It's already gear > skill. add in the fact that you cannot feel proud of any "victory" you "earn" over another team when half of that team consisted of bots



Blizzard refuses to acknowledge that this has ruined the game for a lot of people, because all they seem to care about is the almighty dollar they continue to receive from these bot accounts monthly sub and the cash shop sales that make up for every legitimate player who unsubscribed because of it

IoC and AV are full of Horde bots because smart Horde players blacklist them, so all the bots...which don't care which BG they are in, are funneled into IoC along with all the undergeared/inexperienced players that either don't know to blacklist them or are just there for quick honor anyway. The same exact thing happens on the Alliance side with SotA and SSM. Do you think Blizzard is secretly putting all the Alliance bots in SotA too?

It is beyond ridiculous in that BG. At the point it's at, players on the horde side are actually being denied the content. It's completely unplayable 100% of the time.
The fact that Blizzard is handling it they way they are is downright shameful.

Blizzard doesn't make any money on Diablo3 after the initial buy, but they still ban the map hackers and bot in much more timely manner for D3... They also fix exploits a whole hell of a lot faster... And they release content a whole of a lot faster...

Noticing and stopping them are entirely different. You have find and patch whatever holes that allow them to exist, banning won't even slow them down. Blizzard is clever...hackers are clever. It is a never ending battle between the two.

Also, there was a Ban wave 4 months go....maybe sooner. There was a thread google turned up with May dates but couldn't tell from summery it gave...and I'm not going onto those sites =P

Because half the time they're not bots, and if they are just report them and move on, it's really all you can do, since they ban in waves, not that it really does much, there will just be more bots to take their place.

No, they are bots. I've had to completely blacklist IoC and AV on horde. There is a slight chance to win AV but it's nearly impossible to win IoC; I'm not joking, i've not did a IOC without at least 10 bots (that's being EXTREMELY generous). They all line up at the one spot, they all make the exact same movements and they all just ignore everything and feed ally wins.

Horde bots are more isolated in IoC and AV while Alliance bots are scattered across the 10-15 man BGs pretty evenly, though with a higher concentration in SSM and SotA, due to blacklisting on both sides.

It's really frustrating.

During early Cata I made a official forum post, asking pretty much the same thing. Through the course of the thread the tinfoil theory was that Blizzard either had their own bots playing in the game to artificially float the population or at least pvping population or that they knew the average player was really freaking awful... like horrible. So they keep really bad bots in the game that way the average player has something in the bgs that they can kill, and feel good about themselves for.
