To Rush or not to Rush

    EDIT: Pressed enter too fast.

Last night on WoW one of the party members made a comment that made me think:
"This instance is poor design, it cannot be rushed."

What would be better? An instance that can be rushed and has little challenge accept in how many mobs you can pull? Or instances that take time and dedication to work through group by group and cannot be rushed?

As I see it Rushing diminishes the value of mobs, making them trivial. Instances that cannot be rushed create a challenge in every mob but are slower paced requiring patience. What do you prefer and more importantly, why?

Double edged sword in all situations.

There's that guy who only has 2 hours to play after work but wants to get so much done. He prefers instances that can be rushed.

There's that guy who has 7 hours to play and likes a challenge, he prefers difficult content.

There's that guy who has 7 hours but doesn't have the patience to teach new players who jump into content without educating themselves on the encounters so more often than not he prefers rushable content unless he's grouping with guildies who know what they're doing where he prefers difficult content.

That's why the game has normal, heroic, and challenge mode dungeons these days. To try and cater to everybody.
