Need help making a new computer

    Hi there,

I am planning on making a new computer to upgrade from my laptop. I am looking at parts here:

    http://www.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf

Would anyone be so kind as to recommend a decent build to play games on smoothly ? I dont need a top of the line setup.
Just something that would allow me to play games without fps issues on its highest settings.

Games I mainly play are :

    L4D2 / D3 / Dota 2 / WoW

Those games can run fine on my current laptop but at the lower end settings (medium and below)

Im looking at a budget of between $1200. Can anyone good with computer builds help out ?

I only need the computer. I already have all the peripherals / dual monitor etc.

That looks great. Can I switch to an nvidia gpu though? Just cos I have been using nvidia for ages and I'm more familiar with their software / driver update utility. (Geforce experience)

Also would getting an i7 instead of an i5 give me a difference in performance?

The latter question, no. To first question, yes, you could switch the GPU for GTX 760.
