Nevermind, got it to finally work now.

Might go through and start crafting my badges now that I had stored up.

Mysterious Card Badge also appeared on my Steam Badge page too.

Apparently everyone is crafting at the moment. I got off 3 crafts and now it keeps giving crafting errors.

So went through and crafted all the badges I have. Had enough for 1 badge and still have a spare 2, 5, 6, and 9 (3 total). Won't let you craft the badge yet so gonna have to wait till the sale starts.

I sold 3 duplicates, got some money into my wallet, finished off 2-3 of my badges I'd be waiting to complete and got a Foil. Doubt it'll sell as highly as it's listed, but here's hoping

Prices are down to like 14 pence or so already.

Is there a special purpose for the badges other than being hip? I just sell most of my cards.

i think i've spent maybe 5.00 in the last 2 sales so not to worried.... Only game i'd be interested in is the new wolfenstien and doubt it will hit the 75% off mark.

Same ways as always I guess. Crafting badges, spending over xx dollars (usually 10), incrementally giving cards, 3 community votes (8 hours apart), and maybe other tasks.

They release the cards as "mystery" cards about 1-2 week before the sale and award them for crafting badges. I had about 10 badges ready to craft (and already crafted about 10 a few week ago, before realising how close we were to summer sales >.<).

Sold my number 10 foil for £1.15, getting me £1.00 after deductions, nice enough for me for no work

Badges are just pointless fun things to collect to level (i'm level 40, woo), cos why not. You could sell all your cards to finance game purchases I guess, I sell duplicates (and holiday duplicates are awesome) to fund buying other cards to complete badges /shrug

Guess I should start getting some cards then. What do you normally do with booster packs?

If I need any of the cards still for that badge, I use them, otherwise flog them unpacked. The cost after deductions from selling a booster or individual cards is the same, give or take.

Final Fantasy 3 looks interesting but then I have started FF 7 about 10 times and still have never finished it. Great game though.
