Blackened Chicken pasta or any other blackened dish you can find. BBQ burnt ends may work as well if you can find a place that sells them or something pepper encrusted.

You could bring the drinks to mix up some Black and Tans or Black Russians.

Laverbread is black (mostly), but I'm not sure how popular/available it is outside of the uk. Its a type of boiled seaweed rolled in oatmeal and then fried, try it sometime .

Call what you make spread number one, to get a more prison vibe, use instant coffee, and Kool aid. Your food, whatever you choose should consist of weird combonations that produce typical/normal flavors.
Oh and use plates that have lil sections out of them, which resemble trays in one more.

Black olives. Chop them up into small pieces along with some walnuts chopped up pretty fine & stir into cream cheese (softened in the microwave for a few seconds first). Spread onto black rye bread & cut into finger sammiches :D

That was interesting. I never imagined a party to have a theme of orange. It is unusual.
