Last Week Tonight - your opinions?

Does anyone else think John Oliver's humor - at least in this show - is incredibly lame? It seems to me that every other joke he makes is so unfunny that it receives no reaction from the audience whatsoever, to a point where it is almost unbearable to watch.

I don't think that at all. I think he's incredibly hilarious and I love Last Week Tonight.

Better than Colbert, since it's A) The first season and already funnier than other shows that try the same thing and B). He can get away with pretty much anything. I think it's awesome.

I've enjoyed it so far, and while its not something I bother with live, its definitely up there for my secondstring TV shows.
