I am. I'm craving leveling characters.

I never understood why a lot of people on here that haven't played the game in years still make posts and talk about the game.

I'm kind of the in the same boat. I got back from a long deployment semi-recently, and I really want to play the game. Yet I can't bring myself to farm up gear and raid or do any serious pvp knowing that the new expansion is kinda right around the corner. Now's just not a good time to jump back in, but i WANT to!

I'm playing other games for now, saving the return for WoD.

I haven't played since May 6 and I'm already itching to play. I just have to remember that all I'd do is stand around SW for a few hours and log. WoD can't get here quick enough for me.

Because there's more than just WoW discussions here, and perhaps they're still interested in what's going on out of curiosity?

OT- I don't get withdrawals since I'm still subbed, but sometimes while I'm out I'll be like "Man, I want to level my warlock later", then later comes, and I'm looking at WoW and I just go "Naaaah, not tonight"

Here's what happens to me when I am unsubbed.... I long to play the game. I convince myself to sub back and what all I'll do with my time. Once in I hit the ground RUNNING do what I planned. Power grinding to 90, or strait gearing up, or going for something that I don't have (currently: the Golem mount). What ALWAYS happens is about 2 or 3 weeks in I find myself standing in org or sw in the que thinking "and this is why I don't sub." It's a viscous cycle, but I do have my fun. I usually don't play solidly, I play for a month or so here and there.

its hard for me because i have all level 90s and i dont have the time commitment to raid, only pvp....and with the horrible state of pvp, i just can't play as much as i would like to.

I haven't resubbed for a week or longer or so and I'm mildly craving random BGs. But then I think again that it isn't really -that- worth it to pay 15 euros just to play random BGs >_>

Just find something else to do. The more you look at it, the more you'll think you want to play.
When I got the "WoW withdrawls" I resubed, tried a few dungeons, sat in Org, and effectively wasted 15 bucks. Stopped playing again, repeated the cycle, and learned my lesson the 2nd time around.
It's just a craving for something that was a part of your daily life for such a long time. Happens to me with other facets of life sometimes as well, high school probably being hte most accessible example I can provide.

Wow is awesome right now of you've been gone since SoO. Just sucks for people who have been through it all for months.

Right now I'm doing a lot of leveling and it's a blast. Even tried an alliance character without heirlooms. Good stuff. Lots of people missed all the stuff they redid in cata and there's a ton of new, good stuff. Without it, I woulda paused my subscription.

True that. I'm currently 10/12 Runestones with my Warlock, on my way to the 4th and final cloak (my Paladin possesses the other 3). Once I get the Yulon cloak for said Warlock, that'll be that until WoD.

Honestly, I still have doubts. Repeating the same thing over and over....

Just sub again and play until you don't feel like playing no more. Plenty to do in the game.

I had this happen for awhile but it will pass.

However blizzard just put a carrot infrout of my face with 7 free days and......now I am downloading the game once again lol.

Going to give it the 7 free days then see if I get hooked back into it. The bonus to the legendary quest will be really helpful in gearing my toons up for soloing.

I've been unsubbed since about October or so, I haven't really been feeling much of the whole withdrawal thing. They're apparently giving me seven free days of game time for whatever reason though. Dunno if I'll actually do it, though, if it is legit.

This is why I've never been unsubbed.

If I don't play it for like, a week, I start having WoW dreams @_@

A couple of years ago I couldn't afford WoW for about 2 months (my longest break), and I just kept making starter editions.

    I know, I know.

I got that when I made myself unsub for twelve months during my last year of University... So I could, you know... Not fail and stuff. But yeah. Major withdrawals back then.

Mind you, I've been unsubbed since October myself and strangely it doesn't bother me anymore. Nowadays I seem to get into the cycle of only subbing when there's new content to play.
