it's almost like the owl was deciding if he was a predator or prey.

I'd be freaking out too if I had a human screeching and screaming at me like that.

I found an inured baby owl once when I was about 17, I took it home and called around a few places. The local zoo got me in touch with an owl conservation/rescue group but they couldn't take it til Monday, I found it on Saturday evening. We kept the little guy in a box in my closet with a towel over it, I can't remember what they advised us to give it. I do remember being fairly scared of the little guy at one point, I think it tried fly towards me. It was so adorable, but I was happy to hang him over lol.

Lol what a pussy. What kind of bitch gets scared by an OWL? It's not like it was some dangerous creature just waiting to tear his face off, it was a mother effing OWL.

I would have tried to feed it and pet it, but that's just because I think owls are neat. By all means I wouldn't keep it as it would be a hassle, but a couple scratches on the back of its neck and a mouse would be perfectly fine.

Based on his tone/reactions, it's very likely he's feminine.

You say that until you get clawed in the face by a scared owl. They're predatory birds with some nasty claws and can be mean little fuckers.

They're such majestic animals. I remember seeing one up close when I was out camping - it was surprisingly tame and just sat perched on a tree branch watching me for a while. Then it grew bored and flew off to do whatever owls do.
