Hey all, just a question re racials. I know that they have been nerfed, but looking at the choices on the Horde side, do you think that the Tauren Endurance racial give a slight edge over the Belf one?

We appear to be performing well in terms of mitigation and self-healing. It really just plays like live, only a little a slower, so not really many changes there. You just gonna be losing the vengeance and raid-assist play, which is a deal breaker for some.

So we don't have offheals anymore? That seems rather dull.. That was the best part about the prot pala. What sets us apart from other tanks now apart from the way we mitigate damage? Hmm...

It generally feels like a wash overall, but Belf is probably the smallest bit ahead. +1% crit and the extra HoPo from Arcane Torrent ought to be good enough to overtake the stamina boost.

You do have offheals, they just don't really max-heal people quickly. I suppose they can still maybe be a buffer for proper healers still, but it wont be as dramatic as a well timed Hammer/Prism was in MoP.

Isn't juggernaut's trinket suddenly becoming good on wed? It goes from dodge to bonus armor.
oh, and Blackfuse neck is bonus armor/haste.

Not sure I'd say it's "good" just because it has armor. It still has a shit effect of like ~2% leech (totally negligible) so you're essentially just using up a trinket slot for 107 armor if you have a mythic warforged 4/4 version of it. Is it worth it over things like Skeer's or Thok's? No idea, but then it doesn't really matter either.

Yeah, "try not to fall asleep" tanking, on top of an instance we've been playing on auto-pilot for months :/

Edit: I'm getting into http://www.clickerheroes.com/ - has more depth than what tanking looks like it'll have in Warlords.

107 armor is quite a huge amount tbh. I just checked my stats when squish comes. My total armor would be 2104 without that trinket.

It's worth something like just under 2% additional physical reduction and 107 attack power.

I don't think it's worth it over a proper DPS trinket, if you have them. If it had a better proc/use effect that would help, but 2% leech is just pathetic.

Back on Topic xD

Someone asked earlier whom will be the stronger race (Very minor differences) but I am still interested in knowing everyones choice as we all know dwarves is basically a no brainer in terms of Alliance tank Race but for horde we have two choices.

Bloodelf - 1% Crit + Arcane Torrent (AoE silence + 1HP)
Tauren - Critical Strike bonus damage and healing done by 2% + Brawn increases stamina by 197 @ lvl 100

Personally I value 1% crit over 2% Crit bonus damage & healing but paired with the stamina I am not sure. What do you guys think

LoH still healed rather low compared to sheath of light as retribution. I am still puzzled that Blizz never hotnerfed sheath of light but I guess it was not used commonly enough on valithria for them to consider it to be an issue.

I had a keybind specifically to cast FoL on her whenever I had an insta-cast one, too.

The 50% prot only LoH heal was a bug, fixed a fair few builds back.
