This was so sad that my soul hurt.

I hate that damn coward on the American forces.

While not a movie, this had me weeping for a good while.

Brokeback mountain, when he buttons up his shirt.

Frodo when he smiles back and then departs, also when he hugs sam.

When Sully says goodbye to Boo, and she goes to open the door, only to find he's not there.

(Although that last one had a happy outcome)

Will Smith losing his buddy in I Am Legend.

The ending of Enders Game was pretty sad even tho I knew what was going to happen. The cute nice chick in Jack Reacher being murdered to frame him was sad.

Jack Frost dying in Rise of the Guardians.

It's not a movie but...this fucking dog. My wife and I started watching the episodes in order. I had seen them before and she hadn't...we get to this episode and I had to skip it. I told her you can watch it if you want, I'll just go outside or something.

Get a grip man! It's CHEESE!

The scene where Anakin goes to the Jedi Temple and murders all the Jedi and the orchestra playing when all the Jedi across the galaxy are dying via Order 66. I didn't cry but it really grabbed at my heartstrings. I don't care what anyone thinks. It still hurts to see all those good men and women die.

Artax swamp scene from The Never Ending Story. Scarred for life.
What makes it even worse is apparently the horse actually drowned during that scene due to the lift used malfunctioning.

The Land Before Time - Littefoot's mom death scene...
The Secret of NIMH - pretty much the whole movie

80's animated cartoon's were freakin gruesome

So many really sad, in a good way, movies to choose from. Recently I just saw "Seeking a friend for the end of the world". That ending....
