Not only is that line vague and ambiguous, but it's also not the message. The message is "celebrate our differences", which is not a bad thing, but "celebrate our similarities" tends to stick more with people. Don't get me wrong, though; that isn't to say that variation is inferior to monotone. The opposite is in fact true. But there is a line somewhere between variety and difference that the gay pride movement has certainly crossed.
I wonder who thought of the idea of having meat between buns to support gay pride.
