    Question "You've Been Chosen"... what?

I just checked my email, and I got something from Bioware with the subject "You've been chosen"

And that's all it is. I click on either the image or the "Watch Now" button, and the webpage doesn't load...

I'm a little creeped out by this. Especially considering the url that I get sent to (which is a redirect from ea.com) is something about a nightmare.

Anyone else get one of these?

*edit* Ok, so the web page finally loaded, and I watched the trailer... Still have no idea what it's about, but it's mildly interesting, I'll see if I can get a link to the youtube video..

Yup, there we go. The hell is this even about?

You may want to run a virus/malware scan if you clicked on anything in the email, sounds like a scareware sort of thing.

I got it, saw EA & figured it probably wasn't worth my while clicking.

It is actually legit, some new creepy game BioWare is putting together.

6314 emails in your inbox? That's a lot of boner pills and Nigerian princes.

Or maybe they are a twitch/cam whore and all those e-mails are from beta males wearing fedoras saying "OMGZ you are so cute" "please respond"

It's the new teaser trailer for Biowares new IP

It's the first hint we've had about their new game, and tells us almost nothing - modern setting? sci fi or supernatural? horror theme? Who knows.

i got it as well, but looking that it is from bioware and EA, dont expect much.

Edit: and i bet you this shit that EA is trying to hype is not even in closed alpha. just like how bad BF4 was rushed (game literally released in alpha stage).

It's a bit too vague for me to get excited over. I'd rather learn something solid that leaves little room for doubt.

The next method of conveying game announcements will undoubtedly be via carrier pigeons.

Its their new IP and it is totally legit. They also have other websites. http://dulfy.net/2014/07/25/help-wan...seeking-henna/.

So far it seems like its a horror IP, but not much is known. It will be revealed at Gamescom.

Google gives me 15gb of email storage. I see no reason to delete anything... ever. And I rarely get actual spam in my inbox, googles spam filters are rather good.

Well, not deleting emails still doesn't explain 6000+ emails. I thought sending emails died a long time ago. You must have a ton of friends then, I guess.

Oh sending emails is still quite popular within people with jobs.

Yeah, I guess so. I work in IT, and I rarely send any, and don't really even receive that many. Basically only to test out some systems to see if the emails it sends are OK, but that's about it.

Perhaps if it was our customer service email account, then it might have a few more, and I understand work email accounts having a bit more emails, but personal accounts... Seems like a lot.
