Impeaching Obama. It is gaining momentum.

    CNN Article.

"a third of Americans think Obama should be impeached"

    Yes we can!

I hope they do. I need entertainment.

Oh, and it undermines their chances in elections.

All it will do is ensure the Democrats keep the Whitehouse, and make sure the senate doesn't go to the republicans. These people that want the impeachment are beyond stupid because there is nothing they could impeach Obama for anyway.

Although one-third of Americans endorsed impeaching Obama, according to the CNN poll
A few people voted on a website. THE COUNTRY HAS SPOKEN.

It has a margin of error. It means they sampled.

Assuming people will respond to that. Even so, this is getting stupid.

I actually found the survey. 900 people were interviewed.

You are totally right. You always think the next guy is going to be better and ends up being worse.

Governments in general are so corrupted nowadays that it wouldn't matter who goes in. Doesn't mean that there can't be some sort of satisfaction watching certain people going down.

With a margin of error +-3%.

The poll was conducted for CNN by ORC International from July 18-20, with 1,012 adult Americans questioned by telephone. The survey's overall sampling error is plus or minus three percentage points.

Even if it had a sample of the entire USA, yes the population has spoken. To not impeach Obama, because 33% is less then 66%. Infact, that classifies as a landslide.

3% margin of error is amazing for most sampling, a margin of 5% is the journal standard, with 1% margins being god level papers.

Sample size matters, but this size is sufficient, especially given how one-sided it is.

    You can't just impeach Obama.

Some people in the USA seem to mistake impeachment for a no-confidence vote. There's no such thing as a no-confidence vote in the US. You cannot just vote to remove a sitting President because he's unpopular and you don't like him. It doesn't matter if 30% of the people want him out. it doesn't matter if 100% of the people want him out. No-confidence votes do not exist in the US system.

Impeachment is used when the President has acted in a way that is immediately objectionable. This means things like "being drunk all the time" or "committing an actual crime". Not "presidenting in ways we don't like for political reasons".

where are people getting these wild ideas. Dont like a president so impeach them?

can anyone name something egregious that he has done to warrant a legitimate boot?
