    CC breaks cant be pre-emptive because any tier 1 and 2 comp has multiple DRs(even with the new merged ones) and it makes it easy to fake = full duration.

    the main issue regarding CC is 1) certain classes have too much sustained, burst AND amount of CC and 2) certain spells act like trinkets, aka bmtrinkets/tremor/burst of speed/unbound/druid block/ibf/etc, and all you have to do is mix those classes and you get a faceroll comp.

    seeing how some healer spells are getting a cast time i see no reason for all CC to have cast time, but then again you have the issue of melee being, currently, op on beta as their mobility is not addressed at all.

    Mind Flay is a snare, albeit a horrible one I certainly hope the tuning will cover "worthless" talents.

    There was a time where the PvP trinket was actually important, because the amount of CC was so much more limited. With all the CC reduction taking place, it only makes sense that CC breaks should be more limited as well.

    That's what we are saying and trying to achieve for the past ~4 weeks. Tremor was a start and Berserker Rage needs to be next. Unbound will, Feral Root break and DK breaks also need to be looked at. Please, go ahead and provide feedback on twitter and official forums.

    Ah yes, I remember the times when faking and positioning still mattered and were part of a PvPers skillset.

    I actually don't think CC was more limited. Imo PvP trinket was more important because you could actually avoid cc since it wasn't all instant and even instants like scatter trap had longer gcds, but once you failed you'd sit that 10+5+2.5 sec poly into whatever followed and without a trinket someone would likely die. Or if a rogue/spriest opened on you without a trinked you'd die because you'd get 4 + 6 sec stunned into a 5 sec silence (not trinketable) into a 4 sec disarm, guaranteed kill on a healer.

    Barkskin is a cc break?

    I dunno, I support an overall reduction of breaks as well as CC. It's too soon to judge the new PVP model, too many things are changing at once.

    I'd actually much rather priests be able to mind flay on the move to snare people than have feathers. But shadow doesnt have feathers anyway, right?

    Shadow can use feathers if they want, it's a talent they can pick.

    The talent choice is Body and Soul (60% run speed for 4 seconds after shielding) or Angelic Feather, or Phantasm. With Phantasm being the weakest of the three by far.

    Personally I don't really want Mind Flay on the move - I know a lot of Spriests do - but I always find casting on the move kind of cheesy (for any class).

    Priests just need a snare really any sort of snare like frost shock or make void tendrils base line with only a snare effect but talent to make it root.
