Can I run Rift with this system?

Hi!

I have a pretty bad PC, but I was playing WoW for like 6 years so I didn't want to upgrade since it's running smooth.
However I would like to try out this game and I don't know if it's okay.

CPU: Intel Dual Core E5300 @2.60GHz 3.46GHz
RAM: 2GB, can upgrade it to 4GB from my other PC.
VGA: Nvidia GeForce 9600GT 1GB

No SSD or anything else.

Also I don't know about Rift gameplay, but in WoW I was in a 10M raiding guild, and it was just fine in raids with medium-high settings.

you can run rift on low-medium assuming you turn off shadows.



you will need more ram though, 4gb should be enough if you only run rift and windows.

Yes you can.
I could even run it on my 200e laptop with intel HD 3000 graphics card and some shitty processor. Granted it wasn't that enjoyable experience, but it was playable!

@OP: yes you can. We have similar specs. You'll likely run on medium-low with shadows off. Also suggest turning off other player's spell effects in the options. You'll know how much of the settings you need to tweek when you get into a zone event and there's a full public raid going. Expect bleh framerates in the major cities, though I think that affects pretty much everybody.
