Ok so this poster in Australia for the new ninja turtles film is apparently causing some sort of up roar because:

A: Exploding Building
B: People (Turtles Jumping from building)
C: Film is out on 9/11

Paramount Australia has apologised after accidentally referencing 9/11 in a new poster for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The studio shared the poster on Tuesday through its official Twitter page, which showed the four turtles diving from an exploding building alongside the date it hits Australian cinemas - September 11.

The unintentional, but unmistakable connection to the terrorist attacks on New York's World Trade Centre was met with swift backlash and outrage on social media, and was deleted shortly after the oversight was pointed out.

Since then, Paramount Australia issued a statement saying 'combining that image and date was a mistake'.

Personally i think that its getting a bit ridiculous that people are getting outraged over a poster in AUSTRALIA . This poster wasn't even released for the US to see but apparently its now offensive.

Yeah, the obsession over 11 September 2001 is just unhealthy. It happened, lots of people died. Yes, by all means commemorate it - but stop thinking that that day is a world-wide day of mourning. But after 13 years, maybe it is time to move on. Don't forget it happened, don't forget relatives that died, but move on.
