Unreleased Tier Armor set recolors you want in [Potentially image heavy]

As the title might suggest, what Tier Armor set recolors (that were not added to the game, removed, or incomplete) would you have liked to have seen being used by the players?

Personally, I would loved to have seen the blue version of the Tier 12 Immolation set for Paladins in Firelands.



Or maybe even the complete Tier 10 Waarior sets that only Muradin (blue) and Saurfang (red) could have in their entirety.



What are your thoughts or choices?

Seems to be alot of Blue versions of gear from FL that were unreleased.

Remember that originally FL was gonna be released with the Abyssal Maw raid which would have been underwater, so I think the reason they had the blue sets along with the orange and red ones was that. At first they figured the normal set could be blue and then the heroic version would be red, then when Abyssal Maw was dropped they did the orange color to replace the blue set since blue doesn't really fit with a raid tier set in a domain of fire. Just my own speculation though.

Makes perfect sense. I do hope one day they will implement some sort of vendor that could perhaps trade these offset colors for heroic tokens or something, i hear they are adding a vendor in WoD that sells the raid finder pieces from previous expansions (don't quote me on that, can't remember where I read it) no reason not to add them really.

I'd much rather have the missing pieces of sets that are already in game but not fully available for players. T6 - T10 belts and shoes come to mind, hell, the Mage T8 non-set from 25 man Ulduar even lacks a chest piece. A chest piece! What did they even think?

There's also the very real possibilty that was the LFR colors and that feature simply got pushed back to Dragon Soul after they'd started on the gear recoloring.

i hear they are adding a vendor in WoD that sells the raid finder pieces from previous expansions (don't quote me on that, can't remember where I read it) no reason not to add them really.

I don't know about that one specifically but I know they're allowing you to go to previous LFRs to farm transmog without the need to queue for them.

Doubtful. The hottest fires burn with a blue'ish flame, so that's no doubt the reason.

Not a tier set, but the alpha/beta version of the Paladin CMode set would make me play one in a heartbeat. (First one's okay, but the one at 1:22...)

The only coloration of firelands DK tier that looked good... and, of course, the one they didn't use....

The DK T10 set that Saurfang wears and the finished but unused blue boot texture would've been nice - not so much now that I'm flippin' classes though.

In addition, the Abyssal maw would have been scrapped long, LONG before any tier sets were being made. Not to mention that the appearance of most of the tier sets actually only fits things from firelands itself. Like the spiders for warlocks, or firehawks for rogues, etc.

I have the set, its awesome, but nowhere near usable with only 4 pieces of the set. Screw the snowflake crowd at this point, Black Market already shows what Blizzard thinks of them.

Why did the black recolour of the Scourgestalker set from Ulduar never have a matching head? Always ground my gears.

The green version of warlock Tier 8, the one that is worn by NPCs such as Grand Apothecary Putress, Grand Necrolord Antiok, and Haethen Kaul. I think it's the best looking warlock set in the game but unfortunately that particular color isn't available to players. Purple/orange (the ones available to players) versions don't fit my green fire so well.
