Just move on with your life. It's clear that you're too superior to all these plebs and your greatness would be better off somewhere else where they have the privilege to even be explained why they're wrong.

I feel you, man. It must be hard to feel superior to others every day.

Only because he had to be to get elected and he cant just flip-flop after election.

Even some of our richest people like Warren Buffet are writing letters saying how "maybe Karl Marx was right".

Guys, can we please not devolve this into an economics lesson.

I am trying to get your opinion on the protest and overall, illegal immigration in the United States. We can have an economics argument in another thread.

Can't we just shuttle the illegals north to Canada and tell them that jobs and citizenship await. The kind of mentality shown here is exactly what they profess here in az

I think it's hard to discuss pro-illegal-immigration movements without at least touching on the relevance of cultural Marxism in left-wing political discourse. While those ideas are not particularly common among rank and file people, they're influential in academia and filter down to a non-trivial extent. People don't necessarily know the intellectual origins of their ideas, but that doesn't mean the origins don't matter.

My only questions is how are they "your" streets? Do you illegally own the streets too?

I sympathize with people trying to find a better life, but people take the United States' immigration policy very fore granted. Yes, it can be a pain like all bureaucratic processes but it is still one the most lenient (if not the most lenient) immigration policies in the world. Almost ANYONE can become a citizen if they just follow the process.

That said, the process still needs to be simplified. My friend's father who has been here for many years as a legal alien is very hard-working and even started his own company, he just recently got his citizenship two years ago. Had a big party and everything, sadly he is now still waiting for his wife in Ecuador to get citizenship but should be happening pretty soon now.

Which, frankly, is counterproductive. If we had something near open immigration for the educated and productive, but kept out the unproductive and infirm (like most countries do), we'd be considered even bigger shitlords, but we'd probably be in a better place.

This is why immigration will never be addressed effectively in this country. While you wait for 6 years for Obama to be communist, the privately owned businesses will continue to create incentives for illegal immigrants to come here.

I would say having even a mediocre proficiency in English or mandatory English classes should be a requirement at the least. Went into court a few days ago for a speeding ticket, took forever to get to my case because essentially every second to third person needed a translator.

Things mean different things in different places. What is socialism to you might be extreme left to some people. What is conservative to some people might be extreme right nut jobs.

Political spectrums change based on where it is taking place. Technically, you are 100% correct. In the real world however, Obama is left of mainstream america (On some issues, of course he is right on some, and middle on some, just like all politicians)

So you support illegal actions because it's just too hard to do things the legal, proper, way. Even though immigrants have been doing it the legal, proper, way for years now?

    Great!

So the next time something is just too hard or time-consuming for me, I can go about getting it illegally...then blame the system and expect everything to be OK?

Being left of American politics is still REALLY FUCKING RIGHT of politics all over the world. And while people's personal perceptions of socialism or communism might be different, that doesn't mean jack about what those things actually are.
Human progress isn't measured by industry. It's measured by the value you place on a life.

    Just, be kind.
