Smile Budget gaming build opinion and suggestions

    Greetings everyone.
I posted here a while back looking for some advice for a potential build. I decided to wait and save up for a bigger budget.

I'm now between £450/550 as my budget and my current build is a standard i5/8GB build:

I'm looking for suggestions mainly in an alternative motherboard within the budget and GPU type. I just picked a random Radeon R9 270X from that list!
Also... anyone know of alternate nice, well ventilated cases that would support that mobo?

    Thanks in advance guys!

The EVO CPU heatsink is not a must but will let you overclock the CPU a fair bit.

Use the Amazon link for the EVO cooler.

Some bloody black magic you're pulling there, Notarget. That's a pretty damn good build from what I see.

I did tap into Mola Ram's powers to make it happen, thank you

Yeah what Notarget did there doesn't get better with that budget.

I'm just repeating what others said but can't see the setup getting any better for the budget.
Notarget did exactly what I was hoping for. Polish up the "base build". Thanks a lot!

Will start ordering the pieces now!

Also - Quick question but, I'm not planning on overclocking right away. Which means that I can skip on getting the cooler right now yeah?
And if I do intend to OC it further down the line just buy the cooler, install and OC it?

    Yes, you can.

    Hi again!
Between writing this post and now I managed to order the Processor, Mobo and Graphics Card.
However... the memory in that list is now discontinued with the next cheap same one going for £68 on a different retailer.

What would be a good Memory alternative for the G.Skill one? I was looking around and I can't find Memory that is as fast as the G.Skill (2133Mhz) for around the same price.

EDIT: Just looked in Amazon (not listen in Pcpartpicker in the retailers list) but found the same G. Skill Memory but for £63.
And then there's this for £58 but only 1866Mhz: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...ls?ie=UTF8&me=

Those 1866 from Amazon is perfectly fine.

Here are some 2133 for ~£60, not from Amazon though:

The 1866's in comparison to the 2133 performance-wise, how much different would they be? Noticeable?

RAM speeds are about the lowest performance gains possible. Most of the time higher RAM speeds are suggested it's simply lower RAM speeds are practically identical in price, or worse yet lower RAM speeds are higher in cost.
