Once again, further evidence that nothing good comes out of the former nation (now politically correct dystopia) known as Sweden nowadays.

The simple fact is that video games rarely if ever have an effect on your view of things beyond them. Back when I played Gears of War (and had an Xbox 360 for that matter), I never felt the urge to attack someone with a chainsaw; despite getting a kick out of doing so in the game. When I played Cooking Mama during a several day hospital visit (on account of the fact that I forgot to bring other games), I did not suddenly feel the urge to become a chef; in spite of the fact that the virtual cooking entailed in the game was quite enjoyable.

    <Infracted> for nation bashing.

I don't know what your point is really.

they diden't ask to be brought to a warzone, and i'm pretty sure the guy you quoted meant if he ever caught them looking at porn no matter the age

On one hand, I see where he's coming from. He's not a bad parent, he didn't take them to see dead bodies and firefights. They were safe and not at risk for any PTSD or anything. On the other hand, he could've probably saved money and time and just went about it a different way, lol. Video games aren't influencing or rotting any kid with any sense's brain. I think he could've just had a talk with them and maybe showed them some "safe" information or videos on the subject. They wouldn't hit as hard, sure, but it also wouldn't have been such a big deal.

You should probably do something about that mental illness, lol. Last time I checked, I didn't see any dead bodies or executions when I walked down the street. Just because it happens and can happen somewhere on earth, doesn't mean you should force yourself to witness it. Soldiers don't even do that. In fact, they get treatment for witnessing these things and take medication for it. Their reality isn't your reality.

If it's posted somewhere I'll look at gore, I'll never go on an active search for gore, but often my curiosity gets the best of me.

Region's been a 'warzone' for centuries now. People have been going on pilgrimage there just as long.

I think there's better ways to get the point across instead of getting your kids nearly killed.

I'd still not even go there myself, let alone take my kids.

Next he will buy them hookers and get the hookers act like girlfriends so they learn that sex isnt like it is in porn :P

But yeah tbh i wouldnt call him a "good" dad if they had to go to a freaking warzone in the first place, then he isnt doing his job.
