I strongly urge you to talk to a psychologist about this, and don't hold back when talking to one. Take this from another sufferer of depression. They do help.

I know that feeling of no ambition and no motivation to do anything at all, where no matter what happens it all seems so futile and worthless. I've been heavily depressed with recurring apathy for more than half my life now at 24, and still have relapses every other moon or so, but always improving. It's a hellish place to be, and crawling out of it alone is not worth it, no matter how proud of a person you are. There's no shame in seeking help if that would stop you. Depression is a serious condition and should likewise be treated by professionals on the same level as physical conditions, and they will improve your quality of life. That I can guarantee you.

Here are some things to try:

Study a martial art. Look at what's available in your area. Read up and watch videos before you pick a couple to try. Go to a couple of different places and see how you feel about the way they do things.

Learn to cook. Make yourself try dishes from different regions of the world. Try new ingredients and new flavors.

If you have access to medical care, get a check up and make sure there aren't contributing physical problems. If you are on any form of medication, double check their side effects.

To the OP : I can really help you without being infracted but yeah like someone suggested, if you're really feelling low go talk to a specialist. Not because you're mad or crazy but just because talking to someone can help. You don't even have to go there all the time, one or two times. If the specialist is good enough, you'll be provided with good advice etc. About your "friends" they're fucking assholes and you should forget them. If you're really trying to stay alive and be happy, go see someone, go out, talk talk talk and find the right people to hang out/be with.
