John Dies at the End is great. Read the book though, it is even better and still worth reading even if you have seen the movie because quite a bit is different. There is also a sequel called This Book is Full of Spiders that is also amazing.

I have not just stumbled across any movies lately, but I have randomly come across some great documentaries on Netflix. Most recent was this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3062328/?ref_=nv_sr_3

It's a three part series that explores the history of comic books from the strips in the funny pages all the way to blockbuster movies. Highly entertaining.

Enjoyable and fairly original movie. No idea how I stumbled across it again though.

Gonna also go with Equilibrium. Never heard of it until long after it was out. Was bored one night during college, went to the library, found it there and watched it. My god. Loved it.
