what does blizzard need to do with WoW to really get you excited about it agian?

with a huge increase in their team - i heard it's like 4 x larger now - the hope is they'd be able to do a lot of content a lot more quickly, if that's the case, what are you expecting to see?

cos atm, for me in wow, it's past it, so much stuff i realy want, but not even a hope of having it, because it will take too long, what sort of things would you expect from having more people onboard?



1. sub-races - as ane xpansion feature and more added every patch
2. A new pair of races each patch
3. Another revamp of the old world
4. new models to things like moonkin form, ghost wolf form, metamoprhosis etc - male/female moonkin or even drayds/keeper of the grove forms etc
5. Racial architectural styles for all the playable races for the GArrisons.
6. More hero classes like demon hunters next for example
7. Garrisons in Azeroth - also a new conquest game with your garrisons, that literally is Wc1-3 style wher eyou control the troops and lead character as opposed to just yourself
8, Much faster expansions
9. Updated old zones every patch - i.e. you take like 3 zones, and write a new story developement that continues the story, complete with progressive phasing, every patch focuses on 3 zones, so slowly but surely everywhere gets a story continuation - this is in addition to the developments of the expansion on the expansion continent.

Cata change is nice, but it killed my 'memories', I loved burning stepps and endless wars there (was pvp server), I loved a LOT to infinity level some old quests and just words can't describe how much I still love them, and still did them on any alt no matter what (Nothing but the truth)

Anyway, without out of topic, agree on all, except 9, and 8 I'd prefer if it was faster patches instead of exps, i mean check vanilla wow patches vs anything else, or BC patches vs anything else (except vanilla), even wrath had more patches then rest, with the sucky 3.2 ToC raid

On a more serious note, not a whole lot. Blizzard has a good thing going with this game, I'm just done with it. Ten years is a lot of time to devote to one game. It's not like older games, where you play them maybe once every two or three years, but playing almost every day of your life for TEN YEARS. There isn't a whole lot that they could do to get my excited about it anymore.

1. more character customization (full facial customization like Skyrim, the Sims, ect; tattoos and piercings allowing you to place them where you want and as many as you want, not preset arrangements; subraces of course)

2. More frequent PATCHES, not expansions. Stop cancelling shit like the Abyssal Maw raid.

3. Garrisons need Wildstar housing levels of customization, decor items that you can place, rotate and scale as you please.

4. More classes and more specs, since mastering new classes and builds make redoing content on alts fun, adding replayability. (Tinker, Demon Hunter, fourth spec are prime examples of what I want.)

Blizzard makes more money than anyone in this business and always talks about how talented their designers are, so they really need to start proving it if they want me to come back.

Just on a side note, I'd like transmog to work like Guild Wars 2, where you unlock the skin permanently adding it to your collection of gear skins. Void storage is clunky and outdated.

Erase all of Pandaria and jump my toons from 85 to 90. Wasn't a fan of Pandas. And it wasn't the "cartoony" aspect. I just didn't enjoy the story line, i didn't like the NPCs and i just felt the whole xpac was flat.

I can't say for myself because I'm still having fun whenever I play but I can say for those who feel the need to rediscover the magic: Blizzard has to open up a few servers with 2004 version of the game and let these "magic is long gone" players have their nerdgasms there for a week. After that they'll come running back and they will finaly see that the spark was lost in them and not the game.

I think they should just stop with new races in general and instead focus on current customization options for the races we have now including things like sub races. Game can't take having an extreme amount of races. Other than that content should speed up really that is all.

I loved every bit of the game until the ICC patch when they started removing so many things from the game and added the dungeon finder. go back to that model would do it for me.

I'm not sure what Blizzard can do that'd make me "excited" about WoW again. MMOs are mostly driven by the people you play it with, guilds, raids, and such. They're not really "good games" if you take away the "accumulated hero" that you have, and the world shared by thousands or millions of others. I'm a firm believer that bringing back the "good old times" wouldn't fix anything. The issue is the mindset of the players, and that the internet has grown over the last 10 years. All the information you could ever want is on the internet, easily accessible, and you can't go back to being an inexperienced noob.
