They look the same, but hey it's a great loophole.

If gay people want to be treated so badly as equals, stop throwing stupid headlines around the media every day and maybe just maybe it stops becoming an issue.
Because it opens a discussion about the restrictive laws in Russia. Coverage helps put social and media pressure on the Russian government. If no one said a word about it then I doubt anything would change and homosexuals living in Russia would have to put up with unjust laws forever.

Heh, if you're going to have a face for your gay marriage movement, I feel like this is a much less scary image for people:

    Than this:

'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

And just to compare women to women, here's another non-threatening gay couple:

Don't get between a woman and her cutlery man. It doesn't end well.

Eh, one of my friends was born in Odessa, and she doesn't look creepy at all. Does Odessa count as a metropolitan city? My ex-girlfriend grew up in a satellite town of Moscow, and was not creepy. Does that count?

    This and only this.

And it's not a gay marriage; they're husband and wife. Contrary to the story they got flak for wanting to marry in identical dresses; eventually they were given the green light by the Moscow authorities.

And to everyone going for "this will shed light on the homosexuals in Russia"

Yea.. because the media constantly going on and on and on about gay rights while there's simply gay bars in Russia; people don't talk about it, but they're there. I've heard from many that the more media coverage it is; the more the flak and rude to violent behavior will increase towards them.

Basically from what I've seen, heard and know is Russians do not like to talk/hear about sexuality, at all; straight, homosexual, asexual, they don't care; it's not a public topic for them.

    Camilla: You, sir, should unmask.
    Stranger: Indeed?
Cassilda: Indeed, it's time. We have all laid aside disguise but you.
    Stranger: I wear no mask.
Camilla: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda.) No mask? No mask!

All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

Well this is a conversation I don't really care to have in the first place. I'll let Erin et al debate this with you.

Haha what a way to troll the system. Great story but like others have said really creeped out by that couple, it's something I would expect to see in a horror film.

Now.. why would the article say a "she" when it is "clearly" a dude.. a name change and a mutilation doesnt change that fact. Nothing gay about this article..
