There are people who I've seen blame Futureshop because their product has manufacturer defects that are of no fault of Futureshop, 'cause people are insane. After that 30 days expires, and if you didn't grab our warranty, you and your product are not our problem.

Well assuming you know it was vandalized by someone then you blame the vandal, but here we are speculating that someone is responsible because they raised their hand wanting some recognition for something they may or may not have done. Servers are bouncing up and down, left and right. You have two choices.

Choice #1: Believe the person who is saying "Yep. I'm doing it" is actually doing it.

Choice #2: Assume they're lying for attention, and that something must be wrong with blizz servers that they refuse to speak about, and are seemingly unable to fix, across multiple days, each time coinciding with a guy going "Yep, I'm doing it", who is always lying, but always happens to be around to take credit when it's going on anyway.

well when GM made a car with a gas tank that was too rear-oriented, and a drunk driver hit it and caused it to burn a family, the supreme court blamed GM and not the drunk driver

companies have a certain level of responsibility to proactively combat this shit. now i don't know the details of this yet and neither do any of you white knights or blizz haters, but chances are, blizz has done the bare minimum to avoid another lawsuit settlement and this attack is just a publicity stunt

No you don't pay for the servers that is not how it works. Its a license that says you can play this game when its available to play. It is not a contract that says I pay you and you insure that the servers stay up/I get new content. Its a license agreement, that allows you to play/use their product when it is available.

In fact, Section 11 of the EULA labeled Limitation of Liability, Indemnity it even says " BLIZZARD SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INTERRUPTIONS OF SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ISP DISRUPTIONS, SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE FAILURES, OR ANY OTHER EVENT WHICH MAY RESULT IN A LOSS OF DATA OR DISRUPTION OF SERVICE." Best part I didn't bold that, that is how its printed in the EULA. So by agreeing to the EULA when you install you agree that Blizzard isn't liable when the service doesn't work.

What's mind boggling is legally they could do a complete server revamp, take the game offline for 3 months and still take players subs.......who would agree to that ^^

It is this bad, top streamers gets ddosed on a daily basis and it happens very frequently that major gaming sites gets attacked. really it is just a matter of time until this type of attacks is in the hands of terrorists that will shut down the digital transactions on the major financing systems in the world.

In short they have the tools to cause billions upon billions in losses in a very short period of time and if targeted in the right place it will shut down the world economy while the attack goes on.
