I don't really agree with any of your reasoning, but obviously those things and reasons are important to you, so you don't really need my agreement
The good thing is - there is a solution - and it's quitting and finding some other game to play. The absolutely best way of giving feedback to Blizzard is cancelling your account and filling the the exit questionary form.. type in all that stuff in there as reasons - they gather and value the exit feedback very highly and there's a very good chance they change things if enough people share your concerns.
OQueue is the culprit if you are getting disconnected or having other problems using the Report feature. I disabled it and have not had any issues since.
I do feel that people who cannot communicate effectively should not be thrown together for LFD, LFR, and random BGs. Some US realms are grouped with LA or Brazil realms for this and it's a royal pain in the butt to get a group coordinated when only 1/2 of them understand what you're saying.
DCing when you report - Check
Too many bots . Check
I dont care about the russians.. They own in random BGs. Thats about it.
in-game shop - I dont care
My yell to the people... Look up on how bots works, how they react, move etc etc.. AND REPORT THEM! Dont blame blizz or anyone else.. YOU can do something about it. If every1 reported those damn bots, the bot owners wont use them anymore. (Gets banned, or get caught asap)
Come on people.. Start using that report system..
Same goes with all the unmature people out there. Report them. Have you seen the chat sometimes? When im in a BG. If some1 just mention "idiot, scrubs, retard, etc etc" I report them. If every1 did the same EVERYTIME they see it. The problem would be solved
Lets see:
1. Its a addon problem. And yes its blizzard problem too. Addon autors asked blizzard many times to fix this, but they get ignored.
2. Moneysaving and greed. Nothing else. They did the russan merge to force players to pay more for server transfer to servers that rarely connect with russan.
They ban bots....but the biggest problem is they ban in waves where damage is done already and not 1 by 1. They could easy hire special game masters to would check over those games and instant ban the botters. But nooooo...they are too greedy to afford that. (+ this would cause fear for players who bot)
3. I look on a store as the items that should be in game, gained by either very hard achivment or rare drop. They probaly invest more time on store models and items than on actual ingame items/models. Since they added store the armor, mount, minipet quality went down the drain a loot. There are maybe 2-3 good pets after a long patch and 15 that are just clones with diferent color.
Don't sweat the details!!!
Sigh. First thing, you're not going to reach anyone here on these boards, might as well not post at all.
This problem stems from the use of certain addons. Not Blizzard's fault, it's yours for using those addons. I personally never even once encountered it, and I'm a great fan of those report buttons.
Exaggerated bot problems again? a) Most people that you think are bots aren't. b) EU has so much less bots than US it's ludicrous. You rarely ever see a genuine one if you don't spend whole weeks in BGs.
And the merge... what exactly do you expect them to do then? First understand where they come from, in the US you can probably put together everyone in one region to play together and nothing happens. Yes it might have been a bit shortsighted to apply this 1:1 to Europe but it has happened, get over it. The argument behind it was probably that the regions with much less players (e.g. Russia) need the stronger countries to have reasonable queue times; in other words, if it wasn't for us, Russians might not even be able to play properly, something that you see as a given for yourself. And that's why it's not like they could or would remove the tech at this point. You can talk them dead on their forums, but out of those 120+ pages threads over there maybe 5% of the posts are actually fair critique, the rest is pure unreasonable flame fest and hate battles based on cultural differences. Can't work with something like that, no wonder Blizzard doesn't do anything. They can't take people serious when they go on like that.
Optional, not mandatory. You basically can't have a problem with that. Also, the people that work on store stuff are hardly in charge of the "problems" you have in mind.
Really those are your problems? Why don't you go outside and catch a bit of fresh air, maybe get a few actually serious problems in the real world.

Your rights as a consumer begin and end at the point where you choose not to consume, and not where you yourself influence the consumed goods.
Translation: if you don't like a game don't play it.
This sounds like an issue with a mod and not Blizzard. Some mods screw with the report system somehow. For example, when I have OQueue enabled, often times I have to report someone for spamming/language/etc. within ten seconds of seeing it on my screen or the report function disappears. When I disable OQueue, it returns to normal and I can take as long as I want to report bad behavior. I have never been disconnected while using the report feature and I always make sure to disable OQueue before heading to Timeless Isle on my server because to quote a famous movie... You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
I will start with the bots. There is nothing that Blizzard can do about it if you report it. Blizzard has waged a war against the bot makers and it takes time to figure out how to determine if people are botting, then they do the ban wave. You can sometimes get quicker results if you report a player for cheating. It isn't something you will notice usually, but some of the people who consider themselves "trade goblins" sure notice it when they report glyph botters who stay logged on 24/7 cancelling and reposting glyphs. It usually takes a couple of days for the report to go through but Blizzard will keep an eye on said player and ban them if they determine the player is botting.
As for the server merges. I cannot comment on what went down with the EU server merges but for the msot part, they have been a good thing. Always remember this, there are probably far more people who are enjoying the game with server mergers who don't go on the forums to complain than there are in the 120+ page thread complaining.
The most often complaint I see from people is when they are mad their low-pop server is no longer their own free play-ground and they actually have to start competing against players for rare spawns.
Ever hear the phrase, too many cooks in the kitchen? Coming from someone with a web/software design background. You can't just throw more and more people at a problem in the hope that it will be fixed quicker. Some bugs take time to track down the root of the problem then only require 1 dev to fix the issue.
Besides that, stuff like mounts, pets, and other vanities require very little development time and could actually generate more revenue for Blizzard allowing them to do stuff like hire more GMs and help support so issues like your first problem can be taken care of more quickly.
The people that design and create mounts, pets, and vanity items probably aren't the same people that fix bugs.
True, but since achievements can be account wide...actually, would mounts cross faction count towards the same achievement? I've never even thought of that.

Current bis specs still reference ToT drops for certain classes/specs. It happens in every expansion, it has happened in MoP, and it will happen in WoD.
I'm sorry, but I still cannot grasp or understand the reasoning that the in game store is bad. So they are making some money on the side? What's the big deal. If I don't like it, I don't have to buy anything, which I don't. NOTHING in the store makes anyone any better than me, so the fact that people get so riled up is absurd to me. What is exactly the big deal? That there are micro transactions for a sub based game? Ok? Why is that bad? And please don't tell me they "should" or "shouldn't" just because there is already a sub.
When they start selling weapons/armor then I'll be upset, but right now, I wouldn't even know there was a shop if it wasn't for the people who constantly complain about it.
Here's an idea, put on your big boy pants and stop trying to be hand held away from the problem. The shop is optional.

Couldn't agree more... Turn off all your addons, and check them one by one. Enable 1 addon, go report spam someone. Easy Sauce.
As for store bought items, my take on people who complain about it generally is that they can't afford it. If you can't afford something,
there's no reason to get upset. Either get more money or move on and be happy. I'd choose being happy over being bitchy that I'm broke.
You know I only had one problem with Blizzard and it was the fact that I was playing on Skullcrusher-EU ever since I started playing WoW back in the TBC days and in Cataclysm the realm started to lose population at the speed of light. It wasn't just skullcrusher, a lot of realms far worst than my realm were there we had a big thread on the forums which we pleaded our case and at the time the only response was there were no easy fix to this, that problem is now more than 3 years old and all their efforts with xRealm and Connected Realms bullshit didn't help me in the slightest. Despite my pleas and everyone else's, Blizzard's stance on the issue didn't change. So I decided to vote with my wallet, haven't played for 5 months and as long as I'm not given the free transfer I desperately need off that dead realm, I won't change my stance.
It's hard to see why should they keep so many realms up while their sub-base took a 6 millions hit from its glorious 12m subscriber days. They have the same amount of realms up, at half the subscriber numbers. And the end result is people like me suffer the consequences of playing in such realms.
Yes I have tried playing on other realms with new toons but it didn't felt the same because I have spent 6700+ hours on this game and more than 5000 hours of it have been spent on those toons trapped on Skullcrusher. It never going to feel the same because those are the toons I wanna play on and those are the toons I can't enjoy at the moment because well, dead realm, dead economy virtually nothing to do as a part of an in-game community, no progress no nothing.
So I understand if people are frustrated with some practices Blizzard Entertainment employs. I just hope they realize that they have to show a little flexibility in areas people are suffering the most.
The best part about these threads are all the Blizz white knights they bring out, especially for the store. "It's optional", "it's a different team", "they are still releasing comparable stuff in-game"...
Or -
The best thing about these threads is all the Blizz haters who bring out things like the store and how it's taking away resources and how the store is affecting the quality of in-game items and how it's all costing another raid tier. Or how greedy Blizzard is without putting any money back to development, without any evidence at all.
It's just a circular argument that doesn't get us anywhere constructive at all.
But we're MMO players we like to whine and argue about shit that doesn't matter at all, right?
Can't say its gamebreaking or I really care about it, I use a seperate tab for trade/local and barely/never look at it., just never knew anyone else who had the disconnect on report issue before, then clarified that it certainly isn't Oqueue or any addon that does it.
It's not like reporting does anything, I have seen the same name repeatedly spamming, as long as they don't offer anything illegal in wowchat its hard for Blizz to remove them, we all know what "best price services" means but as they aren't saying we sell gold for real currency they skirt around the issue. Most of the illegal conversation is done 3rd party ie skype nowadays.
You're getting disconnected when you "Report Spam" someone? I suggest you check addons, I do it on a daily basis and have no issues.
For the other points, clearly the game is no longer for you? Move on?
