Massive DDOS attacks on all major game online companies

SOE, Blizzard, EVE Online, Guild Wars 2, Runescape and League of Legends. From their servers going down or simply bad lag. All have reported to be victims of large-scale of DDOS attacks. John Smedley even had a bomb thread. What the hell is happening?

I am wondering that as well...seriously, I have NEVER had issues in GW2, but now I have experienced lag like hell in it. WoW lag is a bit more common since I play on a very busy server, but nothing like lately.

Not to mention the bomb threat...what the actual fuck?
