Better to record with PC or Laptop?

Hello. So, I'm currently setting up my own voice recording studio. I've always been interested in voice over, but I've never been good at dealing with all things audio. Could someone help me out?

I have this mic and I'd prefer to use it on my main pc, the one that isn't in the studio, but I'm going to be using it on the crap pc that is. Will there be much difference in sound quality? I could be wrong (which would be good in this situation), but isn't the soundcard in my main pc a waste for recording anyway since the Samson is a USB mic and so isn't affected by external soundcards? If that's the case, do you think I could get away with just recording from a crappy laptop?

TLDR: Better quality recordings if I used my main pc with external soundcard or does it not make a difference and just use laptop which makes a lot less noise.
