Nepotism in the mainstream gaming media Anita Sharkisian is a conartist

This will be quite long so be warned.

So for those of you who don't know. There has been a huge scandal lately that span out of control, involving a number of gaming jurnalists and some youtube celebreties like TotalBiscuit.

What happened was, Zoe Quinn a female independent video gamer developer, that is also a feminist, who claims that cheating on your gf = rape (because you wouldn't get consent if she knew you were cheating). Has been found screwing around with her boss (that is a married guy) and several other jurnalists, in order to get favorable reviews for her game depression quest that can be found on steam.

Now this for many was just hilarious, because when you have such a definition of rape, and then you go on "raping" your boyfriend, not with one but with multiple people, is just damn right ironic right?

But the thing that lit the spark was the removal and outright banning of every topic about this from a large portion on the internet. Reditt admins started banning it, 4chan started to delete threads, not surprising moderators from rockpapper shotgun and kotaku were deleting. And worse, false DMCA's were filled against MundaneMatt's youtube videos in order to take this down and hide it.

This obviously enraged gamers who started becoming more vocal and protesting more. This led to game media jurnalists calling gammers to be "worse then isis" (imagine that). And 5 articles yesterday were released saying that gamers is a bad term now, that beeing a gammer is something despicable.

Now personally I have found the article so sickening that I am never going to go on gamasutra again. Beeing called a kid in my moms basement for beeing a gamer is one of the steriotypes i thought we moved away from.
How can you go on a gaming website as a journalist and talk shit about gamers. Who does this woman thinks she is talking to? We are the one who knocks. We are the ones putting a bread on her table by clicking her articles and buying the indy games her company is supporting.

But whats even WORSE. Is Anita sharkisian faking death threats to herself in order to divert the scandal.

The evidence seems more then resonable to prove that she did that.

This leads me to believe that the reason games like "gone home and depression quest" get favorbale reviews and why Anita gets ambassador of gaming award. Isnt because they deserve it. Its because they are all friends with each other. They are interconnected.

If you're an indy game developer, and you want to sell your game and have it green light through steam. You have to go through a company like agency of games, who will give you "advice" for a cost. And then the person who is in charge of that company and is also a jurnalist at gamasutra, will then pull strings for your game to get very favorable reviews.

These people operate under the guise of Social Justice Warriors and feminism. So that you can't criticise them. If you say something bad about Zoe Quinn, then its because she is a woman. If you say something bad about Anita (who stole 150.000$ and didnt hold her end of the deal) then its because she is a woman.
They disable their comments on their videos because they get "death threats" that are sometimes sent BY THEMSELVES. so they wont get criticism for it.

These people are a cancer to the industry. I think us gamers should find out who these people are. And punish them by stop clicking their links. Whenever you see an article written by them. STOP. Dont click it. Dont give them the add revenew. They are tricking millions of consumers into buying BAD games.

walking home is not a game. Its an interactive story at best. Its decent. BUT ITS NOT GAME OF THE YEAR. As many main stream media has claimed.
Depression quest is atrocious. Its a DREADFULL GAME. Go and play it if you dont believe me. Its THAT BAD.

My thread touches the issue of anita and proof of her faking death threats. As well as a solution for how we can, as gamers stop this borderline criminal activity. I think my thread has a different purpose then the game gate one
