How long does it take to get to level 90 from 85?

Usually depends on how long you play.. but good news: they nerfed the exp needed from 85-90 by 40 % since you left. So its much much faster.

It took me about 1 day all added up. I made sure I had full rested though. I recommend (from my experience of MOP) questing mostly and doing the Instances for the quests then not doing them until you get a new instance to do the quests for.

Pet battles around the BMAH takes me almost exactly 1.5 hours per level. The xp scales so it is 1.5 hours no matter which level. It's mind numbing though, I'd only advise this to the very disciplined that might want to prepare for the celestial tournament or something.

about 2 hours per level for me from 85-89 and then a 45 minute treasure of pandaria run to cap at 90 with enough earned gold to buy the flying and still come out on top

There are semi heirlooms that a rogue can get and use. There are BtA weapons scattered around Pandaria.

1. Skip quests until you buy gear.
2. Do the run to Dawn's Blossom in Jade Forest. Buy gear.
3. Wowhead the BtA daggers. There is an OK starter in Jade Forest. Grab as many of the treasures and BtA gear as you can, it is a chunk of XP.
4. Once you can equip the BtA stuff from Dread Wastes, go grab it. The dagger and trinkets are both XP and upgrades.

Skipping the first quests until you buy gear will let you blow through stuff faster. The BtA gear XP also helps. One or two 450 weapons and trinkets at 86 will also speed you along as you level.

I played for 3-6 hours each evening for about 5 days. A level a day. I felt it wasn't terribly overwhelming, and I paced myself. I feel it's a lot easier to quest if you're in the mood, though.

Oh, and it's any help, track your progress through a zone with the zone's questing achievement. Trust me. It gives you structure that I simply could not levelled without.

Between 10 to 20 hours depending on efficiency. 20 is much more common, but 10 is definitely possible if you know the leveling guru secrets

Takes a few hours killing the pack of worms on Timeless isle, theres 5 packs of them, usually all respawn within 5 minutes and give 1.5% exp per pack kill every level till 90

it can get boring doing the same thing over and over, but I mean its faster than questing

if you're not trying to get to 90 asap you can just park your toons at the mail hub and get rested, so everytime you log back in you got a small chunk of rested Exp for 3% pack kill.

Well you'll have full rested xp so try and get a friend to kill rare mobs for you, you should easily hit 87 doing that. Probably 4-6 hours per level after that.

It's about 2 hours per level now. And that's a lot of cushion. 85-87, is about 2 hours alone.

Roughly 3 hours per level for me and I take my time. I believe you can do it in around 2 hours. Queue dungeons and rush through the quest lines. I play in short intervals so rarely queue for dungeons due to time.

Go to the timeless isle at around level 85 maybe 86 depending on class and kill Spotted Swarmers. There's at least 5 areas where they spawn, and they need to be AOE'd down. Each time you kill a group they give you ~3% XP without any bonuses. It is the quickest way to 90, but you may have competition for them.
