This is the major problem in today's consent talks. When is consent clearly defined? When can you be absolutely certain that it is not rape if before, during AND after the fact, the woman can revoke consent?
I don't think it's fair to say that anyone can revoke consent after the fact. But I do think that someone can revoke consent during the act.

Consent isn't just a matter of "not saying no," however. Consent should be enthusiastic and affirmative.

It's still a difference. If the police gains knowledge that someone had sex with someone younger than 14, they are legally obliged to press charges regardless of if the victim wants it or not. If they are between 14 and 16, they aren't - then it's up to the victim and/or parents. Also, they usually have to prove that the perpetrator benefited from a situation in which the victim wasn't able to make an informed choice.

If the roles were reversed, there would be a total different outcome. It's obvious from the crock of shit spewed by most of the feeble-minded folks around these parts of the internet.
