Will mmo-champ be participating in the internet slow down protest on September 10th? To protest for net neutrality?

The whole internet slowdown thing to me, is asinine, what exactly is it supposed to accomplish, awareness?
I live in Utah, my duly elected representatives wouldn't listen to a rational opinion if their lives depended on it. And as long as you are endorsed by the republican party you automatically win.
All this is going to do is moderately annoy me for a day.
What is this internet slow down day?

Yiu do realize that most people don't know about Internet slowdown Day and all it's going to do is annoy and frustrate people, right?
I really don't know how slowing down websites loading help anything.

Its sad because its true. What has "writing a letter to your congressman" ever done?
Tikki tikki tembo, Usagi no Yojimbo, chari bari ruchi pip peri pembo!
Ok, either its too early in the morning for me, or you're obtuse.
Let me state it another way. If at least 75% of internet users don't know theres a net neutrality protest going on, what the fuck is the point of doing a protest.
On their end, it's just the Internet having a slow day. Doesn't mean anything to them...
I've gone to town Hall meetings. I've tried to voice my opinion on a variety of issues. Unfortunately if my opinion isn't god fearing tea-party republican, it gets drowned out.
Not wanting to be Sisyphus does not mean I'm burying my head in the sand.
One person voicing their opinion doesn't change anything. Especially when its completely drowned out by the morons surrounding you spouting idiocy.
Internet denizens, people who would be aware of the slowdown, tend not to vote. I'm not sure why other than maybe they'd rather do something on the computer than get up off their butts and vote.
